    Everquest - Coirnav Progression Server

Occam's razor is more like "We like to do a special server each year with the anniversary - TLP seems to fit for this year (since Agnarr is more of an "event server" limited lifespan and all), and we're fucking lazy, so C&P Phinny"

You can, although it does have benefit to have unblocked as well at times. It's a pretty amazing tool for plenty of nice tricks for things like helping rocky aggro transitions/etc.

Eh, as someone that was playing on FV for a month before I came back to TLPing, it doesn't seem that simple. FV economy actually throws alot of normal prices out of the window, yes - more individual items sell, but some stuff that's typically high because it's a great droppable ends up being...

    Everquest - Coirnav Progression Server

And Coirnav would be different how exactly? Part of Phin tapering is likely because of the fact that it's up to content that's already instanced. Sure, people can do stuff terribly "out of date" but that's hardly the same thing to plenty of people. We'll see, I don't expect it to be AS popular...

Phinigel struck gold once, I imagine they'd like to see if it repeats. There was a dev quote saying it had some sort of insane population early on. (I want to say it was something ludicrous like it made up almost half of all logins for Classic/Kunark era on Phin - but too lazy to search it up)...

Without PL and no serious twinking my other half and we're closing in on 70 on Phin with like 3 weeks invested (and not even abusing notoriously high ZEM zones at that [and while I'm working 40 hr weeks + she's got around 10 hrs a week of PT & Docs! So not talking about no-lifing 24/7, and she's...

    MTG thread

Yea, first impression is very rough thusfar - it's nice to see them going with a HS/etc type model - but it's really dull right now with basically every person playing the same dinosaur deck (I'm guessing it's the best pauper deck right now to put together on the cheap)

RAPA is the red white and blue packaging right? That's the one they "import" down here sometimes.

I'd be passed out around mid-Velious I think.

Honestly, don't even need to "build a box" these days if it's just for EQ - my #3/4 boxes (with #5/6 in the planning stages - since wife and I are both getting quite comfy with 2-boxing) literally have been $50 purchases including monitor/NIC and run nearly full settings. EQ capable machines are...

Moviepass: pay $10/mo, see one movie a day in theaters

I can't imagine stomaching the traffic for that theater.

Upstate NY had it pre-Y2K as well while I was educating - I never really lived in PA (although I was just over the border for most of MD). Heck, some of Florida has it, but everything gets imported down here if you look hard enough. (Besides fucking Crab chips!!!!)

Your from north enough that you've probably had scrapple, right? It's been eons since I've had it, but from what I can recall - cooked Spam is pretty much the same thing as scrapple. Might be some small nuance to distinguish them, but nothing too substantial.

Ah gotcha - thought you meant together - wasn't around for anything past mid-Kunark VP grated on me and RL overtook game when I tried to return a few weeks into Velious, so no idea on the AoW bit.

    A) Dima was never part of IVAS (Nor was I anything more than a member - my only function of importance was doing a bunch of the spreadsheeting, weeeee) B) We never raided any of those to my knowledge - we did have a timer going with Bloodgill though, with like 4 charmers that loved to make it...

Indeed - just meant that Phinny with it's stunted XP in someways could be compared to some of the earlier non-pickzone ones since although it had worse XP you could at least always find a camp versus the previously better XP servers per kill, but with a serious lack of mobs to kill w/o pickzones.

Doing a return on Phin in the meantime - but yea, I'm all over another if there's one that goes up. I love Agnarr conceptually (early Luclin IMO is a good start time) - but I don't like the idea of the endpoint, so it's not for me unless they announce post-lock plans that jive with me.

Everquest - Agnarr Server: Sunset Mode

Only Phinny was "hamstrung" any worse. Besides the whole "somewhat stunted, but no pickzone benefits" deal that indirectly stunted XP by limiting XP options.

Indeed - that and the paranoia from blowing my first car's radiator in a drivethru (specifically Taco Bell) is a constant reminder to me to just go in 99% of the time. I think for the past year, that I've not used a drive-thru besides Checkers at all. And frankly, for Checker's its only because...

There's degrees of it, I can understand when it's wildly different textures since that shit sets me off - but similar texture like rice/well-shredded meat? That just goes - fits as well as cheese and a burger for Christ's sake. And besides, even doing it the "compartmental way" doing a burrito...

Mtn Dew Ice hits me the same way the Throwback does - which I like - alot less syrupy. I can't stand regular Dew because it kind of lingers on my pallet (not so for some of the alt flavors though), Ice is smooth enough that I'm happy with it, just like Throwback. Now that said if I was...
