    Indiana Jones 5 (2020)

I saw this today. I didn’t mind it. 4 out of 5. All the actors know they are old and make jokes about it. They’re not like Tom Cruise who never gets old. Indy is still white. Arabs are Arab colored. Greeks aren’t black and neither are Nazies. Popcorn was good, too.

    What tickles your pickle

Wife and I went bowling today. Actually, we go twice a week cuz the local center has a summer deal where you can bowl 3 games any day, any time for around 3 months for a onetime fee of $50 per family. This was our second game. She's was killin' me. I staged a comeback but it wasn't enough.

My wife and I are members of a local chapter of a gold prospectors organization and once a month they have an outing, some of which are overnight. I have an RV but it would never make it to the locations of the claims which are very remote and involve trails that require 4WD. I bought a tent...

My house in AZ had a very severe crack in the slab. I ended up putting laminate flooring in that room. The size and slope of the crack exceeded what the specs for the laminate said was acceptable, but I did it anyway and never had any issues. I would imagine modern luxury vinyl is even more...

Tile on a cracked concrete slab is done every day. Every house I worked on in AZ was built on a slab and if the concrete wasn't cracked by the time we got to it, it would be soon. There are techniques and materials designed to prevent the moving slab from cracking the tile on top of it. The most...

    What vehicle do you drive?

I did at first. If you look at the "before" picture, the PO had painted the rear bumper black after putting a huge crack in it and doing a shitty repair to it. It just looked too dark with the car being a dark blue to begin with. I tried to mimic the factory look of lighter colored trim pieces...

Removed the cladding and bumpers. Stapled and plastic welded the cracks and painted everything with Durabak bedliner in sand color. Put it all back together with new fasteners. New tires, struts, shocks and 1" lift.

    What vehicle do you drive?

Just picked this up. 1997 Suzuki JX Sport. Mechanically pretty sound but needs some help cosmetically. Bought it primarily to tow behind my RV but the 4wd will be fun when my wife and I go shooting or prospecting. More economical and handier than my pickup. Going to bedliner the bumpers and...

Sometimes you're stuck with what somebody before you has done, but ideally, the transition from one floor to another when entering a room with a door, should happen under the door so that with the door closed, you will only see one floor or the other.

12 Monkeys Sci-Fi film directed by Terry Gilliam. Stars Bruce Willis, Madeleine Stowe and Brad Pitt, who turns in an amazing performance. Timely epidemic subject matter. Kinda sad at the end. The last time I saw this was 2008. It has aged very well and was still engrossing. A good story well told.

Everywhere I go, men age 20-30 are fags or at best effeminate. There is nothing masculine about how they carry themselves, the clothes they wear, their voices, their mannerisms, their haircuts. It’s gross.

Seabiscuit A really well-done feel-good movie. 10/10. Beautifully photographed, beautifully told and if you've got some good subwoofers, the sound of the horses' hooves as they race is tremendous.

This is Idaho. Now it is legal to get a driver's license if you are a permanent resident of the state; that is, not a US citizen. That has been the case for years here.
