    EQ Never

THat crafting write up also hints at using a skill system kind of like ac1 in that you "make progress" (ie. experience from doing non repative crafting of the same items) then spend it on your crafting to level it up. Now if they have that in place for all adventuring and crafting classes it...

EQ2 came out before WOW last I recall. Something that comes out first cant be a clone of something that came out later.

    Legends of Dawn

Saw this game on steam,http://store.steampowered.com/app/234980/ It seems to be on sale currently and was recently released. Anyone mess with the game yet? It kind of looks like a low budget diablo style game.

Targeting mobs while lots of people around, like doing a fate, on the ps3 is a major pita. You cycle through like 20 people, get to the mob, try to hit it once but it is usually dead by then since it took you so long to cycle to it through all the players around you. They really need to fix that.

The beta access is fairly generic. You have one code that you add to your SE ID which is given to both pc only and ps3 testers. Then there is a 2nd code that unlocks the ps3 launcher from the psn. So everyone that got a ps3 invite also got a pc invite at same time but not vice versa.

Hmm, reading the beta forums seems a lot of people are having resolution issues on the ps3 beta. Either the screen is too small or the games UI is too big cutting off lots of the GUI. It isnt hard to make the resolution have a sliding scale these days. I cant beleive they are having an issue...

Any people in the ps3 beta have a problem where the ff14 game is only taking up like 60% the tv screen due to that the test is hard as hell to read even on a 60 inch tv?

?Build and develop your hideout and place traps to defend it from waves of terrible monsters. That feature is listed on the games steam page. How detailed is that mode. Is it very basic or we talking maybe dungeon defenders style?

    Neverwinter: PC

I think dragon nest is better than vindictus. Both those mentioned sucked for their first year or so also. Im thinking in a year neverwinter will be a lot better than it currently is.

Anyone themselves or one their friends get banned for the ogre foundry fiasco? Seems PWE has made it know if you ever did one of those type of foundry zones they can ban or may already have banned your account, lol...

    Neverwinter: PC

How so? The ogres are easy to kill for all classes. If you are worried about potion use just use a man at arms helper since they auto heal after every fight and they will hold agro the whole fight.

    Neverwinter: PC

Thats why you dont 100% grind foundry. You do the required series that grant bags at least.

    Neverwinter: PC

The 50 ogre in platemail foundry had me go from 17 to 21 in a single run as a trickster. It is called grinding gauntlet. You just get tons of greens, potions, ID scrolls and silver from this foundry also.

    Neverwinter: PC

Imo, it isnt bad at all. And if you are a backseat developer/designer the foundry system is great. You can make tons of "dungeons/quests/etc." in an arcing storyline system all tied together. There is a person that is tying together 8 self designed foundry zones as an epic series...

    Neverwinter: PC

THe by far best part of the game is the foundry system. More games need to rip off this tool (it is way better than eq2s version).
  29. L

    Neverwinter: PC

Granted I am only lvl 5 so far but due to the fact you can dodge in all directions easy and the monsters, including bosses, all have slow ass animation speed attacks you can kill non packed fights with never getting touched. I seriously hope they adjust that.

If all they do is duo with mercs they will not be doing anything besides solo quests and a few the easier groups unless they spend tons of plat buying loot rights to get strong enough to do the harder zones which at that time would be pointless to do for loot at least sicne all their raid bought...

Newb question for anyone willing to answer. I have seen/heard a lot of people talk/post about totems. i have not really played since before those got added to the game. Are totems a skill you gain from the passive tree or or they a gem you get from a quest/mob drop? And if they are gems...
