I've always wanted to see the auroras. Think they would be way cool to see. I live too far south to see them currently.

Here is an image of Sandia Mnt. as seen from the Bosque here in Albuquerque, NM. It's a 5 frame of handheld portraits stitched together in LR6. First time I tried a pano and it was actually fun watching it come together. D800E frames are 36megs each x 5 for this image. Lots of pixels.

I use a couple of these Samsung Pro 840 drives, really fast and priced just right. I also backup all my data daily at 9am to a QNAP NASTS-469 Pro :: QNAPdecent NAS, though WD makes a nice NAS now it seems. I have WD RED drives installed in mine and its on 24x7 for a few years now (no issues)...

Congrats! I made E5 my first time testing also way back in 1985. 3.5 yrs I think it was. Never made E6 missed it a few times by less than 1%, PFE was always a bitch. Finished my BSEE and got out. Do miss the USAF though, worked on AC-130H gunships and then F-111D/F; was lots of fun reflecting...
