Yeah not to knock WoW, hell how can you look at their numbers, but I have never played the game (which I understand is addicting) because I just did not care for the cartoon graphics.

The game's performance is better than in beta no doubt, but I think you answered your own question as to why people had negative comments about the game before release. There is not anyone (not one) who can honestly say this game does not still need polish and could have stood a bit more time...
