That thought crossed my mind while typing that... Wolverine is in a bunch of titles and teams right now too isn"t he. Guess I like my comics being in the same universe as similar relevant titles, and not simply using that universe as a setting and existing in a bubble outside of crossovers.

Just read the last 18 or so issues of FF... some pretty good stuff. Felt kind of all over the place but I liked it.

Back to answering the OP, at 16 years old in 1995 this became my most memorable comic moment: It goes on from there of course... but those frames of Joker going to town... I am pretty sure I"ll never forget.

So confused. Went to pay my mortgage, and it went up $200 ($1050 -> $1260) due to escrow stuff... but looking at December 2009 statements the figures didn"t really change. I called BofA and at the end of the call my monthly payment has now decreased $20 ($1030). I feel like in a month or two...

One of the few hopes I have for entertaining comics atm is Apocalypse returning to some meaningful threat... I have a feeling that"s just going to be a few-issue arc that ends with Wolverine/Archangel just cutting his head off or something stupid though. I"ve rarely been able to get into the...

Our banker guy called me yesterday asking if we"d looked into trying to get our interest rate lowered, said we"d just need to do some paperwork to rewrite the loan and to give him a call back if we"re 1% higher than the 4.5% he says he could get it down to. Said BofA has a streamined process for...

For some reason I was expecting some halfway serious story against the backdrop of the Infinity Gauntlet story arc with this Avengers & The Infinity Gauntlet... color me disappointed when it reads like a poor Saturday morning cartoon in comic book form.

The only rationalization I can make is they are raking in the dough on TPBs in addtion a lack of ambition and a general mismanagement of the strategy of their digital unlimited service.

When I was considering a marvel sub a few months ago, they didn"t even have Civil War 1-7, and that was out in 2006. At a glance they still have no way to view entire runs of a crossover either. You should be able to bring up a page for any given event, like Civil War, have it appear in a list...

Bank of America ended up kinda slow for us but we had a couple paperwork snafus pop up that complicated stuff if I remember correctly, and a family trip out of town the 7 days prior to our close date kinda made things a pita too.... IMO the key here isnt the bank, it"s the guy/people you are...

When we bought our first home for 20k over list in November, we were routinely losing houses with 50+ bids on them here in Vegas. There were 23 on the house we bought.

If that"s all that"s wrong with a 25 y/o house, I"d think you"ve got a pretty nice one. I"ve never replaced a roof so no idea of the costs, but surely the tax credit could go a long way toward making that a non-issue if you weren"t counting on it for other stuff.

In hindsight I expect to be in full agreement, but until then, nervous it is! I"m the steady unaffected one though, otherwise my wife would be even more stressed out and emotional. I haven"t even really gotten excited about all of this, will be once we have keys.

We actually stopped looking at houses we bid on until we got the bank counter. If you don"t sign the bank counter, nothing happens, and you dont lose your earnest money... you get denied so often it was a waste of ours and our realtor"s time. If we liked the area and model we sent in an...

We"re almost 20 offers in, Vegas is crazy right now for home buying, so many cash offers and short sales, 10-40 offers on houses, and we"re not ideal buyers (FHA, and asking for 3.5% closing costs with a max of 140k, shooting for ~1k payments). On 2nd realtor too, first one was shit.
