Took the family to see this. It was fine.
They had obviously done audience testing/surveying to discover that ms marvel's family were well recieved in the tv show and so went overboard with their involvement.
Water planet was absurd and didnt need to exist.
Ms Marvel makes everyone around...
Inspired by the astroboy 'greatest robot on earth' arc where the robot pluto is sent to destroy the worlds 7 most powerful robots?
edit.. having watched the trailer, yeah it outright says it is.
Looking for a 4k gaming monitor for my PC, around USD$500 give or take. Probably 27" but maybe ill look at 32" although I think that's probably too big for how close I sit to my desk.
Gigabyte M27U or Samsung G70B look good, or Dell G3223Q.. Anything else that would be worth looking at?
Some of the gfx mods are starting to make this game look a lot better. It still looks like shit for a brand new game in this genre but that's Bethesda and their 10+ year old engine for you.
I enjoyed this except for the very heavy handed last episode. It is definitely the weakest of the mike flanaghan shows so far. I think knowing what was going to happen sucked out the underlying sense of dread (that his other shows all excel at) out of this one. I had also watched painkiller...
Parasite boss (Primogenitor) is the one which jumps around the room, clings to the big floating blimp monsters and you keep having to kill those ones to make the boss jump off and become attackable. It spawns heaps of adds and the blimps barrage you. It's not hard after a bit of practice but...
Isn't the first boss either the abomination or the parasite? Maybe there's more options, I played through N'Erud 3 or 4 times and only got those 2 from memory although it has been a while. Parasite is definitely the worst of the 2.
Finally finished this. What an excellent game, the way all of the different story elements wove together was very well done.
House of Hope was the standout for me.. Raphael was a great character and his theme song was fantastic.
Hardest part of the game for me was letting Karlach explode -...
A bit sad since the show ended quite well and it doesn't need a season 3, although they did leave a few unanswered questions which I guess they can explore. Not sure what they're going to do to get people back into borderland though if that is what's going to happen.. Or maybe they never...
I'm looking forward to that feature. I just rolled a random appearance for my Tav because I typically don't care what they look like but it rolled up a bloody ugly one which is starting to bother me.
I just use the terrain manipulator, dig myself into a coridoor the sentinels cant see me down and wait 10 seconds for them to give up and despawn. Either that or just keep shooting them till they stop spawning.
Scott Pilgrim is one of my favourite movies.
I still remember when I first saw it. Went to the movies with the wife. We had no idea what to watch, but she pointed at scott pilgrim and said lets try that. I had never heard of the movie or comic and went in to it knowing nothing - hadnt even...
Not surprising that they nerfed what are probably the two best weapons. Nightfall and Enigma is the loadout I've got equipped right now as it happens... It's a good opportunity to look at some other sidearm options in particular, the OPness of Enigma meant I haven't bothered trying others recently.
Hard not to get excited. I appreciate the obvious efforts they've gone to to make her move like Clone Wars Ahsoka did. Shows a respect for the source, which shouldn't be a surprise since they're spawned from the same people.
Arcanum is one of those games that really stuck with me. InXile games have been hit and miss, we'll see. I'll hope for the best, but prepare for the worst!
Arc Lash with fireball and then firebolt enchants annihilates everything while levelling, gives you self healing so you never need to pot. I used chain lightning as a mana dump which randomly kills most of the annoying ranged shit so you dont have to run them down. So sorc levelling is not...
Just finished Singularity last night myself, it was a good expedition. Made me want to get myself a sentinel ship since they look pretty great. In the process i realised i have spent so much time in nms just exploring and doing random nonsense that i never got around to finishing the storyline...
Haha man my factories are all going to be too dark to see in.. i might wait for some new content before i dive in though... maybe u9 will be go live including the story?
I don't think the books are really translateable onto the screen. It was inevitable that the show would be barely recognizable from the books. It wasn't inevitable that the show would be this disappointing though.
Worse than that, it's bugged sometimes and if you are carrying one key, then click another key it can bug out and one of the keys becomes unusable and you have to start the dungeon over again.
On sorc slotting fireball into your first enchantment slot heavily reduced my time waiting for mana recharge. When all of the minions explode it takes a huge chunk out of elites. Becomes less useful later on when getting more mana regen.
This is damn good and very enjoyable. Took my 9yo to it and we both loved it. Excellent story, funny, and a lot of heart. Better even than the first spiderverse which was already good.
Final fight in Burning Shores felt a lot bigger, more difficult and was a more interesting fight than the FW end boss.
Normal machines became way too easy with the legendary weapons even on very hard. The penultimate fight where the guy drops an apex slaughterspine on you was hilariously brief...
I can confirm I'm looking forward to the new season of the Witcher and I will watch S2 of ROP. I'm not sure how you can lump those two together though, Witcher is 1000% better than ROP.
I haven't seen wheel of time or dungeons and dragons.
