What vidja cards are people using that are completely satisfied with performance? My GTX 1080 is finally not up to snuff, especially when near building with lots of items that are also on fire. That one part of Act 1 just causes performance to crater and I would like it to not.
Tal’dorei Campaign Setting Reborn
I think this is the first time Hasbro/WOTC has put 3rd party publisher content on their D&D Beyond platform. They had the Wildemount sourcebook on there previously, but that was actually published by WOTC.
While playing with buddies over Discord (not multiplayer, our own individual games with a shared video chat where we can laugh and say 'Fuck you Gale... you had ONE JOB' to people who appreciate it) I decided to start a new Tactician-difficulty character with an eye towards carving a different...
Gale has been my MVP for most of the game so far. Evoker not only has nice bonuses to damage but also can drop fireballs or ice storms right in the middle of the party and not hurt friendlies.
Watched it this morning. It's a fun story, not super original but a nice series of What If scenarios that nicely dovetails into the upcoming reboot.
The best parts are, as always, G'kar and Londo.
James T Kirk knowing he had a kid coming because Carol is pregnant already hinted that this is currently an alternative timeline.
I suspect that La'an, currently experienced time traveler and hater of the Gorn, will end up doing something that creates the established timeline where Kirk doesn't...
Yeah college of Lore is what gives you access to spells of any class. My Bard level 3 spells were 'meh' (I mostly used the Ward as an offensive AE) so it works well.
For my first playthrough (there's is a 0% chance it will be the only one) I am playing a Bard and man... he's owning both the roles of 'thief' and 'cleric' while still being able to talk his way out of a jam. The third level spell 'Warden of Vitality' has been clutch. Picked it up at level 6...
With respect to melee getting in range...
In general Larian has done things with magic items in particular that I feel Wizards of the Coast could learn from. D&D 5e has been overly influenced by Chris Perkins and his whole 'magic abilities are plentiful, magic items are scarce' mentality. I...
No spoilers but I feel someone should do a wellness check on anyone who has reached Act 3. I have (checks cloud) 50 hours on the game and I just got to Act 2.
The number of times I have gone "hmmm I wonder if I can... OMG I can?!?" is crazy.
Larian has said that making an expansion...
The Klingons singing was A+. Uhura's song was easily the highlight of the episode, which makes sense given that the actress herself was in a major Broadway musical that won a bunch of awards a few years ago.
SNW is taking these big swings and while they don't always pay off they are at least...
I have been using the Cube sidearm ever since I got it and never even really considered anything else. I am a sucker for infinite ammo plus the energon-cube shield has amazing offense and defense utility.
Gun wise I've been using the 150 round magazine into Medic gun the whole game. Never...
Ive had a bit of a crashing problem. Never was an issue in Early Access but it crashed three times last night doing just normal stuff. Did a full file check and everything was copacetic so not sure what is going on, but I am now saving quite frequently.
Decided to be vanilla as fuck with my...
Don't worry, there is zero chance of that happening despite the fact that you radiate 'use me daddy' bottom-bitch vibe.
There are enough changes from EA that I'm enjoying the first act despite having played through it at least 5 times before. One thing to note is that the game is...
In the process of levelling Explorer I am playing through enough Adventures that I am managing to see / do all the various other permutations of the worlds. I guess I could have just stood in one spot and levelled it up that way, but that seems dull as hell. Anyway BG3 is out now so I doubt...
Just introduced a new person to Gloomhaven via the Digital version and the only downside is that he's now like a crack-addict jonesing for a fix. The digital version hitting consoles in September is going to be a really big deal and bring a lot more people into tactics style games played with...
I think it was a knee jerk reaction to the litany of things needed. Yeah you can get them all by doing all the things, but once you have done all that why bother even playing an Archon?
That being said, I have to wonder if the max trait points guy ever spoke to the 'imma put in a bajillion...
I actually got to level 10 on my medic before I managed to unlock any of the non-basic engrams. Medic/Summoner is a pretty nice combo since you can quickly heal back the health you spend to summon the critters.
Boimler scream in real life was A+. The whole thing was amazingly fun and showcases the anthology-esque nature of true episodic television. Give me Strange New World over Discovery anyday.
The story I was told was that the first Baldurs Gate started development before the Complete Barbarians Handbook was released in 1995 (that is what added Barbs to 2e). By the time the game came out (1998) Barbarians were in 2e but still not part of the core game per se.
2nd edition was a...
The tutorial was good inasmuch as I had totally forgotten the plot and theme of the original. They give enough of a prompt to kickstart the archival neurons without going full Basil Exposition on ya.
Did anyone test any part of this patch? I mean within literally 2 mins of a Helltide it was clear something was drastically changed about the shard drop rate.
Apparently all this B5 stuff is because some douche nozzle at Warner Brothers retired. This person *hated* Babylon 5 and was in a position to make sure that absolutely nothing was done with the property for 20 years. Once they left the building everything was possible.
Watched this finally. It tried to do Flashpoint and Crisis simultaneously while rebooting the DCU and serving up memberries for nearly every time DC has been a TV/movie property. The best parts were any time someone other than Ezra was on screen. The visual effects were garbage.
The most infuriating thing about Nightmare dungeons is that I can kill bosses with ease but still run the risk of failing due to getting one-shot by trash mobs.
There is a special outline for an ability with a cool down that is ready to use but is still active. I believe this is because re-using the ability resets the 'while active' back to zero but I haven't tested it.
I've been using the Earthbender Druid for a couple weeks now and it's so strong...
So happily bopping around at level 75 doing Tier 30 Nightmare Dungeons but I inspected a few level 100s at an event and their gear was about the same item level (~800) as my own. I take it that drops stop getting better past a certain current tier?
It seems bonkers to me that someone could...
Lee Pace is in great shape... Holy cow. Glad to see we are still getting a lot of Empire, though I somehow doubt the genetic dynasty will survive this season.
Everyone is just recycling all the Nightmare Sigils that have bullshit mods on them right? Enough of them drop in each dungeon that we always have someplace to go with readily manageable modifiers and we shitcan the rest.
If they were clever they would make some of the mods convey an overall...
