Being new to tlps, what are my options for mounts? Stopped playing live in like 2007 so I have fuck all in my claim window.

It’s cool people get good at it, but it just feels sooo clunky and reminds me of Sam. Gimme that alt tab box life. Nothing beats mq/kissassist/eqbc but I don’t fuck with those on db servers.

The guild I’m in raids 4 days a week and sucks at it. 2-3 days a week is the sweet spot for me. About to bounce for greener pastures but wanted to see how things work here since I’ve never raided on a TLP before.

Have a question for the hivemind - are there any items dropping in Velious that you guys give clerics a priority on?

Leveling is the worst without a guild. I have met some pretty cool people in pickup groups, but mostly it’s just people not pulling their weight and making poor class choices when finding reps.

That was so long. Wasn’t trying to shit on Triality of course, I just knew there were a good number of guilds at that level during that era. I think I even tried to apply to them after I got booted from CD but no one ran with more than 2 - 3 SKs back then so pickins were slim.

Can confirm that *many* high end guilds had good working relationships with devs and GMs alike. They relied heavily on guilds to test raid encounters before they were released.

Haven’t done it myself since in era, but necros/sks could pet pull by fding and sending a green pet in to grab a mob solo. used this in GoD a lot to nab named without having to clear. usually had to da song or bestow da the pet so it didn’t get instantly crunched tho.

Haha. Our sk crew used to do the same, harmtouching weak links/people we didn’t like when charmed. Just watching someone drop instantly was such a treat.

Never underestimate how bad people are at this game. My favorite cue that makes me facepalm is when a mob comes into camp and the tank’s character is looking back and forth for it while it beats on someone in the group.

I assumed the Krono increase was due to more raw plat dropping - a lot of the kunark class amor vendors for quite a lot.

I have no shame in admiting I used it during live. Mostly to track raid spawns. I even had a GM message me to tell me one of my raid tanks was warping around Walls of Slaughter while we were assembling for a raid.

I’m sure having a kid with special needs is tough, but being a dickhead to others in game gets old real fast. Not sure what it is about this game that brings out the worst in some people... Having young kids myself means I’ve been a filthy casual for years and I always just try to be the nicest...

How does this population compare to live servers such as FV?

Seems like such a boomer way to play with like 6 laptops and all the peripherals.

Bronze is annoying. Just take a longship out and farm a bunch and be done with it.

Found Moder, fucking finally. Found it on our 5th mountain and thankfully this one is attached to lovely Meadows and Black Forest, unlike the others that were surrounded by Plains.

I see the 3060 ti is supposed to make it’s debut on 12/2. Anyone have tips for securing one? I’ve been trying to find a 3070 with no luck... might have to settle for a 2060 super since those are pretty easy to find atm.
