:emoji_thinking: I'm confused. Assuming you're an engineer how were you "put in charge" of a project on the PM side? Tell them to pound sand.

:emoji_thumbsup: been playing a decent amount of 'fist. He's solid on payload attack and KOTH nowadays just have to be hyper conscious of your team as he's an enormous target. Good brigette pack target for sure.

do you think she's viable on stuff like 2 cp defense or maybe defense in general?
  13. ex-genj

    Overwatch

Agree with this other than the 2-2-2 part which I don't get it at all. You can "carry" with all 3 archtypes. A solid orisa or rein or dva or zen or moira that do their job well can influence the game just as much or better than a DPS who also does their job well. The biggest problems with the...

Even if you derank from plat you'll still get plat rewards at end of season, its highest obtained. Would expect things to change a lot in s10 with hero changes + brigg. Blizz world is getting "fixed" too man what a shithole map. Same with horizon. Still find myself playing every night dunno...

eh I think she'll do great on stuff like payload attack but thats about it. Defense in general I don't see it. Especially since I'm guessing we'll see a ton more Hanzo...

man those hanzo changes especially that mid air jump. Feels really good on PTR.

yeah redux is an industry standard at this point but I just do web not mobile/native. I mostly use it for ajax calls (redux saga). Personally not a huge fan of all the reducer/action nonsense.. its essentially pub/sub with extra steps. Strongly consider using react 16.3's context pattern...

yeah then you get carried away with it and it all becomes somewhat of a shitshow when you start destructuring into object keys which for random reasons are in brackets? My current react app has like 10 calls to a single function per page that I copy paste everywhere: updateState = (stateName...

uh use confluence or something like that if you need a document tree store, don't use a database. Hell there's probably a million free solutions. Github pages even.

eh rein is my best hero with 68% w/r this season & ~8 hours played and I don't think he's all that hard to play well, just pick him on the right spots (payload attack, cp), be aggro but only if your team is right with you, charge lines should be short, don't be a dumbass with ult & enemy...

you don't know any programming languages and have been tasked with having to write a full stack web application?? This will take you months of work to get up to speed. Give up.

lol math. You need the basics of division and multiplication and thats about it. You will not need anything particularly complicated to make an application web or mobile. Unless it does amazing stuff. 99% of stuff you do will be CRUD.

Reaper is going to be a monster. Did they misspeak about Mei's whole weapon (right and left click) piercing? If so right click pierce is really good too. Left click not too much which is what I thought was on PTR. Not sure what to think about the nerfs.

dotenv is amazing but um you can't use environment variables like that on the front end. if your react is server side thing I linked will work great. If not you'll have to reach for ye olde constants.js for front end.

Fair enough but I'm damn expensive and have been forced to write thousands of lines of front end unit tests for the past 3 weeks for my app that could have easily been replaced by a dude in Bangalore doing simple user acceptance tests vs the spec/requirements. IDK whatever its done and didn't...

Def don't see this show being cancelled for any reason other than the showrunner going completely off the rails and that didn't even get Mr. Robot cancelled after season 2.

Jest/Enzyme will do react unit tests pretty well though I severely question the value of automated UI testing at all tbh. That's called a QA department.
