I think they got rid of that level-locking feature in the re-release. Enemies match your level now (subject to a minimum and maximum per zone). So you can't breeze through the game by locking enemy level at low levels like that.

Amen brother. A couple solidarity bumps don't do you justice. I will disagree with you a little bit on the padding/bloat though. I had originally critiqued the writing getting a little batshit crazy towards the end but after having completed my second playthrough, I appreciate it a little more.
