Anyone try this stuff?Amazon.com: Zirh Aloe Vera Shave Gel, 3.3 fl. oz.: Beauty Currently using a DE and proraso save soap, but honestly I am tired of lathering and cleaning the damn brush. Hoping to skip those steps but still have a better than supermarket gel shave experience.

5G researchers manage record 1Tbps wireless connection speed

Yeah antenna requirements are a real variable, but I assumed these build outs would either be close enough to avoid 6ghz, or be rural enough to not have the 6' rule. I have no idea what Verizon builds to either. Around here, 4 9's is golden. We even have a regional wireless carrier that runs...

5G researchers manage record 1Tbps wireless connection speed

Okay so here is what I found. Note that I have no idea about theoretical throughput vs real world, channel planning, etc for LTE. I am going to take the maximum theoretical throughput and assume that will cover for my lack of knowledge on the rest of that- The ENTIRE 700mhz spectrum is...

5G researchers manage record 1Tbps wireless connection speed

It was to show that backhaul isn't really that expensive now. PTP 100 meter lab tests dont mean shit either. I'll have to look up what LTE can do, but I thought it was around 250mbps per sector.

5G researchers manage record 1Tbps wireless connection speed

Licensed backhaul using existing radios is already far cheaper than engineering new radios and antennas for 5G. 6,11,18ghz 1gbps radios can be had for <$20k from Exalt (for a complete link), and I am sure Ubiquiti will have a 5-10k link out in the next year or two. I believe the problem is...

5G researchers manage record 1Tbps wireless connection speed

Yeah as am I. However, ISP or Wireless Carrier in the US isn't either of those things (unless you are one of the existing oligopolies, and then it is just the money part).

5G researchers manage record 1Tbps wireless connection speed

Not at all. The dude has amazing business models. I just get the feeling that some people think Google and Elon are going to build 1Tb fiber to every trailer park in america, because its the right thing to do! He seems a bit smug in interviews, but I would be too. Actually, i would be too...

5G researchers manage record 1Tbps wireless connection speed

There are a lot of variables for rf. Fresnel zones, multipathing, resonation, and then each band has its own FCC regulation for power output and such. I am not an rf engineer though, just know quite a bit about the 2-6Ghz range from personal experience.

5G researchers manage record 1Tbps wireless connection speed

Yeah its called "TV whitespace". I think the fcc mandated that it can only be used for fixed point wireless, must have GPS lock, and a bunch of other guidelines. Last I checked, it wasnt going to be very feasible

And yes, the lower the frequency the more penetration. North of 3ghz requires line of sight (mostly)

5G researchers manage record 1Tbps wireless connection speed

Yeah there is huge amounts of waste. And then when they open something up for auction, the price is so crazy that common carries start looking at stuff like LTE-U and shit all over the little guys. But no, a hz is a hz, just the graph grows epenentially as 1000hz =MHz etc. Note this is also...

5G researchers manage record 1Tbps wireless connection speed

Yes. Current 4g Mbps per hz and limited spectrum simply dont allow for unlimited plans in congested areas. It isn't even a matter of infrastructure. You simple can't move that much data in that much frequency space

5G researchers manage record 1Tbps wireless connection speed

My thoughts were a >10 roi or buying power generated on your own property is a shit sandwich either way. Elon doesn't do it for the planet,to stick it to the evil power companies, or to save consumers money; he does it because its built a multi billion dollar company.
15. R

5G researchers manage record 1Tbps wireless connection speed

Yes he does, if you do either of the lease plans. And the purchase outright plans are over priced
16. R

5G researchers manage record 1Tbps wireless connection speed

Its more about utilization of channel width, or getting the most Mbps per hz. Especially in these licensed bands, as the prices for spectrum are huge

5G researchers manage record 1Tbps wireless connection speed

Not likely if you consider the current bid prices for 4g spectrum plus infrastructure costs. Elon Musk tricks people into buying solar panels to generate energy that he can sell (and is a fucking genius for that), so maybe if they turn your computer into a host server for advertising? EDIT...

Service Providers (Internet, TV, Etc)

Ubiquiti's AirFiber, 4G/5G/licensed links have lower latency and no jitter because it isnt built on shitty 802.11's shit TCP window, and doesnt have interference. Microwave is direct LOS, fiber must conform to where it is buried. Now that doesnt mean that Verizon or similar wont oversell or...

Routers & Other Networking Stuff

It is most likely overkill and not the right solution unless your noise floor is really low and you require multiple access points. A high powered dual band router such as Asus or if you want to really nerd out, the Mikrotik linked earlier. Be prepared to be frustrated with the tik though...

Routers & Other Networking Stuff

Unifi is ubiquiti's enterprise wireless line. I've been 100% ubiquiti for radios for about 7 years. Cheap Chinese crap, but amazing once you learn their quirks. I have stayed with mikrotik for routing as they do everything I want.

Routers & Other Networking Stuff

So is this municipal or hundreds of back alley colo agreements? Why not use 4.9 for the po po? I would not piggy back on a muni or hotspot for public safety circuits. Lots of WISPs have tried the AP on a lightpost, but once you see any increase in the noise floor you end up needing CPE...

Routers & Other Networking Stuff

I'm primarily a WISP, but have a couple unifi deployments in hotels and hospitals, usually 20-70 APs. I honestly can say I havent a clue for pay for hotspot. I guess if it is generating revenue that makes it a little more reasonable, but who still pays for wifi? I have 4g hotspot on my phone...

Service Providers (Internet, TV, Etc)

That's about 150 hours/month of 17Mbps Netflix, which is the only realistic way the 99%'er would use 1TB of data. Obviously you could eat through 1TB easy downloading a large game collection or torrenting.

So my daughter comes home from school crying. Send in the big brother?

This. I guess this is why I have a hard time understanding why bullying is such a problem. The things we called each other would get me banned here for homophobic, racist, etc

Is this really true? What a strange world. Also, I would imagine the response would be different if the cry is more "TH THTH THTH THEY'RE BBB B BB BB BU.." well you get the idea.

Yeah under no circumstance should you risk it when it comes to electrical. However, I dont see how a range can draw >30a unless it has the plasma cutter easy bake option, so hooking it up to a 30a 220 outlet should be fine. If it trips, get an electrician.

33. R

Home Improvement

Yeah that is the problem. Run it with the current breaker, but dont just upgrade the breaker if it keeps tripping. You will need to inspect the wiring to determine the length of the run and the gauge. There are calculators for this online, and standard wire specs. Would probably be worth an...

I change my vote to this, although I bet the parents need punched in the face too. Do this first. Then bring the pain. One time I got the shit kicked out of me. Best thing that could have happened to my cocky ass.

Home Improvement

NOT if the gauge of wire isnt enough(replacing the breaker), you will melt the wires or worse. I would run it and see if you trip the breaker. I cant imagine that would happen but I never looked at my new oven.[email protected]/* <![CDATA[...

I say have your son pop one in the face. He will get in a ton of trouble, but the whole "zero tolerance to bullying" is a fucking joke. What happens when these kids hit about 7th grade and realize that there isn't a "permanent record" that will taint your existence when you get sent to the...

EQ Never

The last time I subscribed to an MMO for 6 months straight was Vanguard. Everything else has never made it past the 2 month mark. And I would have continued to play Vanguard had I had anyone else left in the damn game to play with.
