The short way to put is that at 70 casters start to suck at DPS, and they slowly work their way back up until 85 when they become good again. The problem is that after OoW there are 7 expansions until level 85. On a TLP that generally is around 1.5 years of not matching up to melee DPS.

Remember if you used old models you couldn't see if people were on mounts? I remember not changing to new models when Luclin came out and people were still using the EC tunnel and they'd say "I'm on the mount at T2" and I'd just be thinking "What the fuck are you talking about?!?!?!"
