SSD is basically a flash based hard drive, no mechanical parts. It's the best upgrade you can make to a computer imo. As for SLi/Crossfire - no. Casual gaming doesn't require that much GPU horsepower. It's usually reserved for ultra high resolution, multi-monitor, or 120/144hz refresh.
