    It s a mistake though to have made parry/dodge negate all damage. It makes all the other systems in the game weak in comparison. You can more or less do any encounter even severely underleveled if you parry/dodge right. Instead, they should have made it more like mario rpg block imo.

    I liked it better than bg3. The combat isnt as strong as bg3 and there are ton of annoying filler encounter, but the build creation is the most exciting i ve experienced. As for the story, you just have to skim through, reading even half of it is just too tedious.

    Yea mana song is generally more important than buffing a single group. You can just run chorus mana+ chorus resist+ warsong+rizlona, 4 songs is fine. Probably harmony of sounds instead of warsong if its the only bard, or can melody 5 songs.

    They're terrible against the hardest bosses of time TZ/VZ who have aggro debuff. They are also not the best for overall trash clear if the pace is fast since they go oom (ex: p1-p3 clear). They also don't do that well on quarm splits (quarm has super high resists).

    Agree on the wizard analogy. They ll still lose on the overall to ranger and monk. And are too affected by deaths and mistakes. The bottom line is, ranger will be far more valuable on hard fight during prog ( rathe council , tallon zek) than monks. It s not even close imo.

    Meh ranger is by far the best raid dps in PoP. Maybe not in luclin since there is no aoe, but in PoP rangers avoid aoe ramp/slow/nuke while doing their max dps with only elemental gear. Monk needs ton of healing/cures and only slightly outdps ranger with bis gear weeks/months after prog is over...
