    Soccer 2017-2018

You can easily comprehend that sentence. Winning "all the time" can mean winning near 50% of the times. All the times here did not literally mean every time. It is an hyperbole maybe, so you know I'm aware def+ counter atk is a good strategy for weaker teams. Also I'm aware Spain plays for...

    Soccer 2017-2018

Read Merrith post he is spot on. low goal count implies large luck factor. You would need many games between 2 given team to know truely which team scores more than the other. In the end, Spain is still better than Russia, as shown by the fact that they had slightly more scoring chances. These...

    Soccer 2017-2018

No, I don't watch soccer outside the Euro and World Cup. I know def+counter atk is a legit strategy goddamnit: the weaker team wins all the time doing this. It's just lame that in football you're never that far off 50/50 odds even when one of the team is complete trash with the ball and has 0...

    Soccer 2017-2018

Spain got their lead with a fluke goal, and lost it because of a very weak penalty. There were little if no scoring opportunities on both sides. Russia was terrible with the ball, couldn't do 2 passes in a row. Spain didn't take enough risks in Offense considering the ultra-defensive strategy of...

    Soccer 2017-2018

Incredibly boring games today. Spain vs Russia highlights what is broken in soccer. Too easy to defend with 10 players, and then its a coin flip (penalty kicks). Defending is more about discipline and fitness, not necessarily skills with the ball, so mediocre teams can defend effectively...

You make it sound like 1) it's hard to deadlift with good form 2) the risk of a game-ending injury is high if you bend your back a little both 1) and 2) are false. If 2) was true there would be no crossfitter left. Also, hip positioning has a lot to do with the ratio of torso/leg. People...

Pillars of Eternity, Obsidian's new CRPG in the vein of Baldur's Gate

I played PoE1 at hard and it was fair so I picked the same difficulty for PoE2. Mistake! This game is piss easy. Had to use a mod to change the difficulty in-game to PoTD.

I've been playing lot of big spell mage. Match up depends lot on your tech cards (ex: Geist, ooze) cuz with double ooze double morph I was getting good results vs cube locks. They were never able to cheat a doomguard with enough mana to cube it. My bad match-up were face odd hunter and...

Having a good sex drive alone is not very predictive of bad or good TT. Need to look at the whole picture. First thing I would wonder is why would you have bad TT if you are young? Do you have varicoceles or some condition? You could ask your doc to at least play with your testes to see if they...

If your pituitary is not releasing LH, I would be worried about other hormones as well... HGH, cortisol etc. A deficit in any of these hormones is going to make you feel bad and slow recovery. HGH is hard to test though, need to do provocative testing. Problems with pituitary can be due to...

Thanks, warming up makes sense. Now that I think about it, I used to have similar pain when doing the very first set on the bench. I definitely have a latent issue and as Tuco said it is futile to try and fix it randomly. I'll give it a few more tries after warming up, taking it slowly.

I've tried to incorporate Overhead Press in my training to work my shoulders, but I got spooked by a pinch feeling I get in my right shoulder during the last few reps of a set. My brother had shoulder impingement and I get contradictory information on internet on the long term risk of Overhead...

    Bloodborne

Same thing happened to me. I had ton of challenge with the first few bosses of the vanilla game, then I entered the chalice dungeons and at some point the blood echoes reward becomes just too high for the difficulty. You end up overleveled and everything else in the game, including the DLC, is...

    Kingdom Come: Deliverance

I'm talking hours of quality content, not just hours spent in-game.The main quest doesn't have that much content. A lot of it is just traveling, loading screen and and figuring out bugs. For example, I spent a couple of hours in the monastery but in reality there is less than 1 hour of quality...

Finished the game. It was enjoyable, but short. 40 hours and at least 10hours spent on redoing quests because of game-breaking bugs. Not worth the current price imo.

    Ni No Kuni II

I was looking forward to it, but the game being too easy is a deal breaker for me as well. Struggling has to be part of the gaming experience, especially since JRPG stories are typically a joke. Don't feel like watching a bad anime for 30hours. Also completely agree on P5, it was my first...

iirc I killed him with 2-3 pokes of "Piercer". Didn't lose any significant amount of life despite being hit a couple of times. No reason not to have the best armor already at that point of the game, it's cheap af.

It's really too bad cause I was enjoying the combat quite a bit for a while, especially the combos. But at some point you just start hitting way too hard, can't even pull off a combo before they go ragdoll. My fight with Runt, which I assume was supposed to be epic, turned out to be a remake of...

I'm going to try combat with a controller. Aiming the strike with the mouse doesn't work very well for me. Otherwise, I love the combat. I'm just not sure it will have enough depth to keep me entertained in the long run. There seems to be combo you unlock but the novelty can wear off quickly.

I also used Uchi for half of the game, and it was pretty bad. Mediocre damage, low range, and I had difficulty doing a 2-hit combo without doing a 3rd hit. That got me killed quite a few times. Astora Greatsword, and UGS in general, is much easier to use for both PvE and PvP.

Same for me. I don't know if I'm alone, but at first I thought Demons Soul was really minimalist and that they would expand the RPG elements (like more spells/abilities) and really deepen the game mechanics in sequels. The combat seemed super slow compared to other games of this genre and the...

You can already feel the rage when you play this on curve and it summons the poisonous snail for your opponent. Doesn't look too good to me on average if you can't exploit the summoning of an extra minion for your opponent (like with MC tech).
