well taking damage is the thing, its the same problem that rogues have and warriors can mitigate with armor, there are much better (neutral) rare choices to pick over that shit weapon ie BGH, Faceless Manip, any of the giants

also on paladin saving coin up to play a turn 4 card like Truesilver on turn 3 and then whatever other turn 4 card on turn 4
