no questions asked, Ergotron HX. super solid on desk or wall. it's like dentist office hardware strong.
My desk is 26" deep, and I can't wall mount in my current position, so my only option is to desk mount, which puts me about 28-32" away from the screen.
My 38" ultrawide is 35" wide and...
for some reason, since the last couple of patches, my Galaxy S10+ seems to be brighter and more washed out than normal.
Maybe it's unrelated and my screen is just aging?
Anyway, bit the bullet and decided to redeem my "free" upgrade via AT&T. I was gonna do it via Samsung to get an unlocked...
Gigabyte M32u is a great 4k under $800
https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/gigabyte/m32u
the only real downside is it's 32" which is a bit small to really get the most out of 4k (depending on your use case and ergonomics)
My buddy bought it and he's glad he did, but I'd probably hold out for...
AT&T door to door sales guys come by to let me know that Fiber is available in my area. I don't normally get down with door to door, but I was stoked for fiber and these guys were likeable so I wanted to help them out since I was legit interested. I felt telling em to pound sand then going...
I'm not super motivated by the Potter universe, but this looks like the spiritual successor to Bully that we never really saw.
With the big bucks IP come deep pockets, and this is looking like it could be really cool.
all of the recent monitor news makes me regret buying the LG 38WN95C-W last summer, even more than I already did!
$1800 during the unobtanium times
it's beautiful, and I've enjoyed it thoroughly, but I wouldn't do 2k ultrawide again. I'd rather have a 42" 120+fps 4k with better HDR
hey gang, I figured I'd throw this out here as I've been having quite a bit of fun with it for the past couple of days.
Strange Horticulture is a casual detective-style game in an Eldritch/Cthuluish fantasy world where you run a rare plant store, identifying and supplying just the right thing...
can someone please accelerate the development of a time machine so I can play this tonite?
Actually, I looked around to see if there was some way I could contribute to the project. I don't normally like to buy games in EA, and I've scoffed at the notion of funding games like Star Citizen and...
1000R is a very aggressive curve, especially for a 34" monitor. I wouldn't be happy with it.
If I was in the ultrawide market, I'd look at the Gigabyte M34WQ
https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/gigabyte/m34wq
it's as wide as you can get before a curve begins to make sense.
I have a 38"...
any forum bros happen to be on Rohendel west coast server?
If so, hit me up @ Broheem (25 Gunlancer atm). I've got a couple of buddies I'm playing with, and we're up for grouping or guilding with more friends
cheers!
yeah i'm in the same boat... flawless S10+ and not really motivated to jump into a new generation
I'm looking for something to get excited about but don't think I need a new phone this year, barring now inevitable hamfisted mishap
my Ergo HX is super sturdy and holds my LG 38" UW in any position with ease, but I dont think that it's quite meant to be attached to a wall with the arm locked out to maximum length. that's a lot of weight and leverage on a relatively small anchor point. You'd have to do some really secure...
there were no graphics at all between rooms/intersections. traveling from one to another was 100% black, but audio worked and enemy encounters were visible. immediately following each enemy encounter and any time between rooms, everything was black
last night while soloing the Shiloh and Frizzle quests, all hallways between rooms were black, nothing on screen. audio worked, and any fights did result in a fight screen, but the remainder of the movement through hallways was black.
not sure if a bug, or just incomplete.
*edit - I just...
find a new hobby that doesnt require you to sink a lot of money into overspending on something that costs more than it should. collecting double-marked-up Yeezies is not a long term play.
I don't dislike the art style in general, but the world and characters look washed out and desaturated... everything has a muted muddy grey tone
There are some improvements in the new models vs old ones, but most of the improvement seems to be skins/colorization... and even that's still lacking IMO
i've been using Steelseries Arctis 7s for several years now and I still love them.
The headband wore out, but it was just a few bucks to replace it with a new elastic band.
I love that they have an onboard game/voice volume mixer so I can adjust to hear friends when gaming in a group
1992 was a solid year...
Dune 2, Wolfenstein 3D, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, Alone in the Dark, Sierra games (Kings Quest & Police Quest series), and the golden era of Super Nintendo...
I'm intrigued by this new Dune!
I put about 7 or 8 hrs into Everspace 2, going slow and exploring, and decided I wanted to wait to play more until it was finished since I'm not usually big into replays of story-driven games.
The controls and mechanics of the game brought back those Descent feels, and they're really solid...
from what I'd gathered here, it sounded like the duped plat was already well dispersed between countless smurf accounts, right?
still nice to nab the bad guys, but how much of the duped plat could realistically have been taken out of circulation? not much, I'd bet
https://www.ign.com/articles/cyberpunk-2077-expansion
this isn't exactly new news, but it makes the "I'll play this when they release it in its final form" strategy seem that much further away
I set this aside for a couple hours as I had to get on a call and do some grinding for work... figured I'd clear out some time to get my other monitor out of the closet and give it a go
upon waking up my monitor from sleep mode, all of the colors are bright and vivid again. what the actual...
booted up my PC this morning and the screen is super dim. it's like the brightness is turned way down or something...
but nope, there have been no changes to the monitor's settings, or any of my windows settings (power management, adaptive brightness, color calibration, etc).
what was almost...
