Devil May Cry combat tunnels, God of War cinematic flair, MMO fetch side quests and every RPG element like gear, buffs, or elements stripped out. That's the complete package.
Oh and a lot of motion blur.
Also sounds like the story is completely predictable and uninspired which is pretty disappointing given how excited people were for the "game of thrones" vibe of the demo.
Just so I'm 100% clear, seeing a lot of confusion out there. There's a lot of talk about what is going to carry between seasons, but that's all only going to apply S2+ right? Season one will be a completely blank slate, because it's on a new realm and the realm is how progress is shared?
Are you guys talking about the events that are basically ghost escorts? Stay inside the circle while the ghost moves around looking for their loved one. If you leave the circle they get spooked and don't find who they are looking for in time. I mean the objectives are all pretty clear. If it...
That's literally all the event is. Ignore anything that doesn't have the blue aura. One always pops up after you kill the previous. Keep bee-lining to them and you'll hit the mastery req easy.
I got into WT4 at 62 or 63 on my druid and yeah it's manageable but the gains are definitely slower exp wise than in WT3. I am probably gonna stay here just for the better loot though. I got four or five ancestrals from my first couple of events / helltide in WT4 along with a couple of uniques...
Oh. Hasn't happened to me yet. Two unique dupes on my chest and one helm so far. Level 61. I heard Druids can get Barbarian drops? That would suck but it's gotta be such a low chance.
Big yes to the glyphs, that's your main growth 50+. Kinda sandbagged yourself by neglecting them for 20 levels. You can get paragon points and get yourself a "build" but you are missing huge multipliers now and you're going to be playing catch up for a while.
Lot of good they're doing now when you can launch playstation games in the browser huh? Keep saving that useless physical media though and convincing yourself it'll be different in the future!
I got the druid unique chest that always keeps you as a werewolf along with a perfect rolled lego amulet with tornados seeking up to 5 targets so I guess I'm gonna start pivoting from pulverize to that fun lookin tornado spam build.
The secret 175 chests during Helltides, do they actually...
Is the 3 minute mark not supposed to be clones in the Whirlwind Maze at the Northern Crater? Seems around the time Cloud gives up the black materia? Unleashing the Weapons would be a good ending point / build up into the final chapter.
Game show trailer was pretty sick, saw some of the Tifa/Seph reactor flashback, a Jenova fight, maybe some northern crater shit?
Edit - here it is. A lot more than I realized, I was watching on mute during a meeting lol.
It's a fair distinction to make for conversation sake but it's not a distinction that matters. If 100 builds are viable but 99 of them are unused for whatever reason, the game/system ain't great.
I don't really see Liar's being worth it, I tried using it for my first two attempts and died during the opening encounter; Cowl is much safer. The extra damage from Liar's isn't needed to kill any normal enemies and Lament heals me during Ecthar DPS. Unless it shaves off two DPS phases I just...
Yeah he's fucking rough. Considering how everything levels up with you and he seems immune to all of my Druid crowd control, plus he's so fast... I don't see how I can solo him.
Yeah it's clunky as fuck, I know. Best bet is muscle memory for the menu spam - open quick menu, sort by attack, hit X and then try to fuse while a Lynel is charging you. They really should stop time when you're trying to fuse like they do with Recall.
It very much is the point because the more you kill the higher your world tier becomes. Notice normal enemies being black or silver? Those monster parts add like 30+ dmg when fused and I bet you're sitting on a lot of them.
Just kicked the tires on the build. Almost beat the dungeon solo but I'm losing focus after like 3 hours. Will get it done soon though.

Edit - not flawless yet, but it's definitely preferable to a solo Spire once you understand all the spawns. I blew myself...
Think I am going to try and get the solo done this weekend. This hunter build is near unkillable like a solar bonk titan. Swap Lament for Arby + tracking rocket on boss.
I have been lazy on min maxing my energy use for a couple of weeks now but I am feeling pretty good sitting at TL55 and having all my ascension mats for my main 4 to hit 80 immediately. I should probably take another crack at Chaos, haven't really tried it since my team was 60.
I don't know how Nintendo counts playtime, I usually just hit the home button and let my Switch go to sleep. But yeah I am in the end game, all abilities unlocked and the point of no return mission obtained. Just doing side stuff. I still only have like 4 batteries...
