Ya I don't know man, I mulli for him depending on who I'm up against, but he has always popped up in my games, and I only ever want him around to get 4 or so steeds on the board, after that I want him dead so I can play my Healbots/Anima/etc. I've also had plenty of games go down to the last 5-7...

Down to rank 9 with Controlsteed. Can't say I've fought too many meta decks, except Patron, which can always just have stupid turns. No refinements yet, everything seems to work well so far.

That's about the same problem old Freeze Mages had with drawing Alexstrasza. It's bound to happen with a 1-of card, but the deck has plenty of draw mechanics to dig you down to the cards you need. Sense Demons thins 2 cards, Mortal Coil thins 2 more, plus your hero power. I've won some games...

Yea, but unless it's a lethal turn 6-7 then you have a Hellfire and they have no board any more, and you can stabilize for 8+8+5+5 health through sac pac and antique. It's a work in progress still, and by no means a 100% answer to patron, but it's fun to play.

It craps all over freeze mage. Haven't fought patron yet. Can't really get a feel of the meta ATM. It has destroyed all of the murloc paladin / token paladin decks I've run across so far, since they can't ever keep a board. Lost to hunter rushdown a few times, and a mech mage that curved really...

Defend what? A combo I see from cards? No need to defend it, it's pretty good holding up on its own. You don't think it's worth making a deck around it with the stall tactics afforded to frost mage. I do. We'll find out on the 24th.

Sorry, guess I didn't combo it with something amazing enough for you. I would think a board of limitless 3/5s and a hero power that costs 1 usable infinitely was good enough, but not for Gavin! Just an idea, Inspire seems way overpowered with classes like handlock or mage.

Yea you're right, draw 3 and play them is horrible. LoH horrible. Not like you can't play minions that activate (like the new Sea Reaver) your patron style decks, and being able to slam down a few shield maidens or what not for free? Psh.

Can't curve out with it unless you get it + Bloodmage, but low cost for a good body past turn 4/5. Could definitely see it in Malylock. A 6 attack Shadowflame target at 7 mana is pretty decent, and it'll explode for 7.

Even with frame by frame the pen he pulls out of his vest is almost instantaneous. Remarkable.

Makes sense to me, Handlock and Oil Rogue match up extremely well versus Patron; however of those matchups, Handlock is the worst.

Played one game with a cobbled Demon deck, went for super-lethal with a roided out power overwhelming banana-juiced hasty doomguard that brought him to 1 life. The rotten banana I flung at him with my remaining 1 mana made me chuckle and I stopped. Yawn-worthy brawl mode this week.

There was also a brief time where you could delay games indefinitely by targeting hero portraits/monsters with abilities. I don't remember exactly how it worked, but remembered someone doing it to me 1 turn from lethal.
