Have a 1.0 account but never subbed so it's not tagged as legacy. Bought a copy of the game on pre order and put the early access code on the 1.0 account. Hope to fuck it allows me to play during early access or I'm going to be jonesing.

There were some Goons in area chat having an argument with some Gay guild on Gilgamesh near Gridania last weekend (apparently Gilgamesh is the main LGBT server). I hear Goons are on more than one server though. Doesn't seem like many EU have joined us on Gilgamesh looking at the google doc...

Yeah the problem is still that characters don't get booted ever unless servers go down, even if they stand around for 12 hours doing nothing. Servers went down and booted everybody for the patch before the few hours extended beta so character creation opened up.

Think you're spot on with most of that. Only point I'm making is that historically Warrior/Marauder was verging on/often was a DPS class that could tank. If you've got stuff on farm or it's not hard then sure tank with a Warrior. But why would you use a tank that needs significantly more healing...
