Hit 50, finished campaign, unlocked WT3. Now to figure out what to use for endgame to start grinding and do the map chores. Enjoying the game overall, but the story is so low effort even with nearly no expectations. Really want a map overlay, gem bag and pet gold loot for wishlist QOL items.

You can max out your batteries super quick. Unlock the forge constructs (let's you buy the upgrade mats with zonaite) and kill the boss types/lynels/frox etc. Each reset will be 2-3 full upgrades depending on your thoroughness.

I'm clocked at like 110 hours. Did around 100 shrines, all the temples, main quests, majority of underground exploration and probably 3 dozen or so side quests/adventures. Probably just bang out Ganon and complete the game this weekend and then just finish the myriad of side quests whenever time...

You don't need to use a staff/wand for gem attributes. You can attach to swords and crap. Even better is the upgraded set let's you negate fall damage.

The only thing I would not sell is luminous ore and maybe diamonds. Sell monster parts, bugs, cooked food, rubies, topaz etc. Everything else is super common and easily farmable for when you will actually need them for upgrading armor or whatever.

Don't fall into the Gacha trap. Every character is viable to get through content if leveled and geared appropriately. Also E6 Natasha is insanely good.
