It does. I farmed 10 to upgrade the paraglider & hook in a bit over an hour, using only 2 spawns. (the underwater ones don't drop tech) Seems 100% respawn, and quite fast.

I farmed the sunken airdrops after reaching the center. My level 3 dude is now sporting nearly full level 9 artifact gear. Feels good going from a 40 damage weapon to a 360 damage one. I can 2-shot volatiles, provided I dodge their leap, and don't even have weapon mods. Did not expect that.

Hard to say. I'm on my 2nd playthrough now and reached the center in a few hours, and am already looking at the last part or the main quest. Easily three times as fast as my first run. The game can be finished in 15 hours or so by a good player sticking to the main quest I guess.

If you equip 4 weapons with a flame in secondary slot, you can alternate the 4 casts during combat (they don't share cooldowns at all), effectively ending most battles in 4 casts. I logged in at 00.24 to share this with you. Back to the console I go, this will get patched.

The start of the game stuff has 40 durability. If you go all out melee, I don't think you can kill 20 zombies with it. How long that lasts depend on playstyle. Weapons are pretty common though, it just means you never get attached to them since most of them last less long then the average...
