They can. From VP you basically want PD loot (Ear, robe, crown) and Hoshkar loot (boots) then maybe the SoW sword. It's not amazing.

It's just more fun. The thrill of not knowing quite what loot tables you'll get is a feeling very much akin to cracking a box of MTG cards.

I think this is a growing issue in the meta on TLPs. Anyone who plans to box realizes they are better off just maining the tank. After a certain number guilds and raids really get minimal benefit from adding tanks to the roster though.

Sadly that’s a small man roster. A real raid could never be so clean because there is always some shitter who wants to main a Rogue or something. People and their “fun” in my mmos.

This raid comp will out perform 90% of any raid you come across for like the first 3 years of a TLP. Don’t overthink it.

What if it’s just a typo and it was supposed to be June 20th Kunark opens? It would match with May 22 Classic start, 4 weeks of classic just like the Mischief cadence.

I don’t think they’ll launch on the 20th. I think they’ll launch on the 22nd. Probably spin the servers up on the 20th and open on Weds.

Teek is the hotzone dude from PoK and they just increased the AA exp cap so this sort of suggests it is a fast exp server.

You could solo them trivially for sure. Just level a bit or make the char heroic.

I like this philosophy a lot.

I mean beta raids are available for like two months every year and you can literally just spam them all day every day during that period. Guilds can come into an expansion having cleared its raids literally 100 times already before day 1 even begins. You can’t expect a challenge in that environment.

I mean even if they all quit who would believe them? "Yeah you're totally not there on a different character" - it would be hard to regain that trust.

It's true, but it's random which servers are up first and up last for this sort of thing so not explicitly corrupt but this is why you shouldn't have staff in top raiding guilds because it looks really bad when the top guild in the world has multiple current or former staff members in it.

I heard the server with the Dev guild had their live raids unlock 3-4 minutes early today and won the expansion clear by 1 minute. The gift that keeps on giving.
