Like the part where the superhero female main character is complaining that the gun is too heavy for her, so the crippled one armed man picks it up and carries it for her?
The quests in HFW are a vast improvement over the follow the ! quest design in other games. They are all telling stories, none of them are the nonsense fetch bear asses or go pick up that thing over there and give it to me. This in itself deserves recognition - and so here I am recognising it...
What gets me is not whether people like it or not, as that's subjective, it's that someone has so much idle time they waste it playing and posting about something they clearly don't like. I really don't understand.
Niddhog/final steps of faith Extreme is my favourite trial in the game. His ultimate looks and sounds so good. Really sounds like he is giving his all trying to kill you pesky adventurers and is very surprised when you don't die.
Playing from Australia. It feels slightly laggy like basically every other MMO, definitely playable. I haven't done any hard content though as I'm only on T1 guardian/chaos dungeons.
I'm playing on USwest, ping hovers around between 180-210.
No queues.
You can google plenty of layout ideas but in general people run belts through splitters perpendicular to the factory inputs, and belt through mergers perpendicular to the outputs. This allows easy scaling of factories up to the limit of your belts.
Going vertical is definitely ideal.
She has definitely had a few cheeseburgers between 1&2 but in general looks the same. I think the fat face stuff was overblown although if you get the right camera angle you can see it.
It's excellent, more of the same but shinier. I never finished the first one. I was enjoying it and got distracted by some other game and never got around to going back to it.
I'm about 20 hours in to HFW so far, I haven't got very far in the main storyline because I am constantly being...
The one bug I've noticed so far is the hunting grounds doesn't complete even though all trials are completed on gold. Quest just says talk to the hunting master.
Annoying but not game breaking by any stretch.
I'm halfway through it. Maajid has gone on already about the vaccines don't work and are worthless for children etc.. so I'd have to say.. yes there is depending on what you think is controversial.
I turned it off after that, will probably come back it later. It's a shame since when the guy was...
Season 3 is out, and I think it's the best one so far. Show has improved for me as it's slowly become less melancholy and more hopeful. It's still dark and thoughtful interjected with moments of hilarity.
This is as riveting as watching Lanx shit up the FF7R thread with how much he hates it while forcing himself to play through the whole game for reasons nobody but he understands.
I had actually removed interject from my hotbar for ages because I'd used it many times and it never worked - so I thought it was a useless ability.
I had never noticed that some abilities had that flashing outline. It took someone in a dungeon giving me grief in shadowbringers about something I...
Yes that trend continues, most(maybe all) dungeons from heavensward on are just straight lines.
In the last few xpacs even the pulls become predictable. 2 trash groups -> wall -> 2 trash groups -> wall -> boss. That cycle x3 is most dungeons.
I literally told you that in this post which you then replied to with this post telling me I was wrong.
Now do you get why I claimed you have comprehension issues?
I can't tell if you're having severe comprehension issues with what everyone is telling you or you're just being argumentative for your own personal entertainment. Doesn't it ring any alarm bells in your head when you say something like 'everyone else is wrong'?
The only advantage of legacy is...
The main difference for me is as I mentioned earlier -> when you are running with monsters following you in a dungeon and you are using ranged attacks on the monsters behind you. This is something I am doing every day pulling dungeons as a tank. With legacy your movement is tied to the camera so...
Don't you need to use legacy movement to shoot behind you? I have been using legacy for so long I forget what the other control mechanism is but I think I remember you can't run through a dungeon shooting at monsters chasing after you using the other control method. It would constantly change...
Thanks, but I'm looking specifically for digital literacy. ie, teaching kids about the implications of and how to safely use social media and the internet, etc..
Anyone know of any good online digital literacy training programs/videos aimed at kids? There's plenty which are about children's digital literacy but they're all aimed at parents.
Is it possible to treat all the waste and feed it into a sink? I've never used nuclear power because I hate the idea of making something that can't just run forever. I haven't looked at what was added in the more recent nuclear updates.
You get +100% XP on jobs that aren't your highest level job too, so if you boost one job you'll get double XP for other jobs.
I have +420% XP on alt jobs at the moment, takes only a few hours to get new ones from 1-50.
I am playing on Ravana. It's very populated but a huge portion of them are new characters, to the point where every day when I queue levelling DF I'm getting the story ones like Titan or Ifrit. There's definitely a lower pop of max level players. Elite DF sometimes takes me 1 minute to pop...
I know plenty of parents who could use au pairs. Their kids daily cycle consists of going to school, then coming home and watching drivel on youtube/tiktok for 4 hours while waiting for their parents to finish work. Not a good way to raise kids IMO.
We used daycare, where I drop kids off and...
What, another Adam Sandler movie doesn't do it for you?
I'm with you on Enola Holmes, the first one was pretty good.
Knives Out 2 is a nice surprise too since I didn't even know that was a thing, but the first one was a lot of fun.
Depends how crazy you want/need to get. Just doublecasting nukes at boss vulnerabilities kills most hard mode bosses very fast. Pairs well with Tifa (or Cloud) to fill her ATB for more nukes, while triggering Synergy for even more nukes. For those sections where you need a lot of MP you can pair...
It's pretty odd that you forced yourself to play all the way through a game you weren't enjoying.
For the record Aerith is the best character (behind Cloud) because of how strong magic is, at least on hard difficulty.
Transferred to Ravana. No idea if it's really going to work since it said it would take minutes or hours depending on load, and the world transfer service appears to have gone down again. I wonder if my character is lost in the void now.
As a tank you can get away with a lot of fuckups and still have a clear. In the first few weeks when I was really concentrating I was pretty flawless on mechs (once I learned them). This week though my P1S and P2S clears this week were a comedy of errors, like spacing out and forgetting to stand...
Yeah I've had a few tank swaps on zodiark where I would taunt, and the other tank (usually a WAR, thanks to their insane aggro) would pull aggro back 5 seconds later and die because they still have the debuff on.
I only use macros for crafting. I tried them for combat, such as target 2, shirk, but it's too unreliable. I'd have to button mash the macro to make sure it went through. Found it easier to just F2 shirk.
Even for stuff like announcing when you use superbolide, I had to put a delay in the macro...
Are trains just for fun/diversity of logistics? When I played last year I never got one operational because when I started building my first one I realised that they take up too much space, and then I also realised that its easier and faster to just use stacked conveyors.
