Agreed, the slow crawling sections really sucked the air out of that part. The vacuum minigames were pretty bad too. This game has so much stuff to get through that they do NOT need any padding.

I still suggest doing the DLC now since it coincides with the part of the game you're on story-wise and there's a lot left in the main story. Also keep in mind that Shinra Tower is roughly the last 40% of the game. Even though there are only 3 chapters that take place there, it takes a while.
