I have a 3570k and you will not be bottlenecked by anything. It's a great chip. Hell, even 2500 and 2600k chips are still good.

Keep it in perspective. Compared to what SOE/DBG had funding wise and what they put out with EQN, this looks pretty successful so far. Compared to Crowfall, it looks like crap. It's all relative.

In my eternal quest to downsize my pc but maintain, I buy reference cards because of the need to control the flow of air in my case. In smaller matx and itx cases, this is usually better than a card that dumps the hot air into the case. Nvidia's refernce cooler is leagues ahead of AMD's though.
