Ending was meh. The stupid power glove punching evil orbs was just silly. Lynch clearly didn't know how to end the series so he just went with the alternate universe gag.
I'll give Brad this - after the KS failed, the drama about the money, and that fat crazy religious womans fuzzy trolls I figured he would just disappear and never be heard from again. I mean did anyone really expect the game to get this far?
Pre-Silius content release was APW and a handful of world raid mobs. Post-Silius was the Shores of Darkness and Pantheon dungeon. Shores of Darkness was the worst piece of shit content I ever played in an MMO and the Pantheon update made you grind SoD yet again.
It actually sounds very anti-climatic. Instead of expanding the story it contracts into an abandon ship followed by interdimensional travel. Makes sense that they scrapped it.
I don't really agree. Yes, fast cut dialogue done poorly is very noticeable and annoying. But when a good filmmaker does it, like David Fincher or Danny Boyle, it feels seamless.
This scene has maybe 50 cuts but it's done very very well.
singsong dingdong has a hard time finding a team because his skill set is very specific, he needs a farming hero that can gank & has a high skill ceiling. When he was on C9 EE had to basically sack himself every game in order to create space for Sing.
This tournament just goes to show how fast teams can get better/worse as more heroes/strategies enter the meta. Bloodseeker hasn't been picked for 6 years and all of a sudden he's picked/banned every game. And I also don't remember seeing a pos 1 Broodmother ever.
Not surprising to hear that Smedley doesn't really like MMO's, he just picks passionate people and let's them do their thing. It worked for the original EQ but failed for EQ Next.
