So i'm flirting with the idea of playing this. Never tried it out and keep having an itch for a long term game but keep refusing to get sucked back into MMO's. Smite is keeping me happy but I am missing some of that "attachment" you develop to a character. I'd probably want to play a wizard...

Nice to see a variety of peoples feedback! Definitely not a game for me due to the heavy fps/halo style which I just really do not enjoy but other then that sounds like a very good game setup. Hope its successful; I'd love to see more games blurring the lines abit even if its smoke and mirrors...

Not playing this but curious how these compare to Rift's original expert level dungeons? Before they nerfed them there was only 2-3 groups of us on the server who could run all/90% of them, shit was pretty challenging but it was definitely doable without VOIP even though on some you needed some...

So....straight FPS with light versions of MMO/PVE/Gear etc on top? Or is it a light FPS with more focus on MMO type elements? Again, just trying to get a feeling are we talking more Battle Field/COD type gameplay or something like a Smite minus the MOBA elements?

So is this mainly a FPS in a pseduo MMO lite setting? I've never played FPS's in any competitive way but really enjoy traditional MMO pvp as well as Smite. Been scratching my head why I bought a PS4....should I consider this or is it primarily FPS focused (IE; I hate COD and BF4).

I just started on east last night, I'm about to hit 20. Xturbo ingame.

Seems like you hardly do any fighting so far, I started fresh tonight and am at 16 and just finishing my donkey quest. Seems like i've hardly killed anything. Makes gear seem really irrelevant since all the mobs die before they reach me. Then again lvl 16 is hardly usually an example of the game

Great thanks. Also can you send things in the mail to chars from other "factions" or whatever they are called? (ie; if i had a character from one area and i'm starting fresh on the east can i send him a few things to help his start?)

Is that a guess or fact? I thought beta was going to be a series of open weekends/events or something opposed to flat out open beta? Sorry guess I should just research myself but figured I'd check with you experts!

TOR wasn't boring in PVP....if you mean pve i'd agree but pvp at least in high end ranked games was actually the best pvp combat i've ever played in an MMO. And believe me I hate Star Wars shit more then anyone on the planet but I loved how pvp combat was in that game.

Fuck the Zeus nerf is all i have to say. So dumb, take out his only way to stay alive. They should at least switch the 3 charge detonate to a root vs a 30% slow which is worthless. Not saying a tweak wasn't warranted but that one change completely changed the dynamic of how he plays. ' Guess...

If only MMO companies would provide that level of detail of fixes/changes......sad world
