Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

Yeah. To get an older theatrical cut I'm pretty sure your have to bootleg it. Lucas added scenes and that's that. The reception wasn't great even when he did it.

That alien milk scene is simultaneously one of the best and worst scenes in star wars. Luke is crack addict rickety-cricket.

So many titties The ONLY thing it lacks are the few quotables. And that's the kind of criticism you make when there's nothing really wrong with the series. The short format really works for this.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

You're overthinking it! Space travel in star wars is also ambiguous, sometimes instantaneous sometimes it takes a week. In the movies, I know the thrawn books dealt with it better. And comms work in hyperspace. But they've got to do something the hole is so deep.

No one responded to Leia because they were all in hyperwarp on the way already and comms don't work in hyperwarp. But they got there a week too late, because hyperwarp takes time. Calling it.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

It's just all so dumb. The way they save this franchise is with a tight story, limited cgi, and a small cast. Not one of those three things will happen. Poe is gonna prank call Lord Skokie and ask him if his refrigerator is run ning. Then we'll get a 30 minute sequence on a world ravaged by...

It's not very often I say this. I don't get it. Tad, this is entirely incomprehensible. I can't even see the seams. It is bizarrely impressive unflawed gibberish. This dada is stronk and amusing. Thumbs high.

I made a ghetto version. You take 2 insulated copper wires and a small light bulb. If there's current running through the outlet, it will run through the lightbulb and you can see that U GUN DIE. A little automotive lightbulb, you need for the connector to be poles. Not the screw in ones.

The Paranormal, UFO's, and Mysteries of the Unknown

High technology means something specific, man. It doesn't mean "I dunno how they did that so it must be magic." Magic is just magic. It's not high or low technology. If there are low tech solutions to the problems, and for most of this stuff there are, then a person needs to assume that's...

The Paranormal, UFO's, and Mysteries of the Unknown

It's getting to agree to disagree territory. I'm not going to say that notion is wrong or stupid, but it is not the one I choose because that is too broad to be categorically useful. To me high technology is defined partly as a tool of which the sole or primary purpose is the production of...

I watch it till I hit that bias. They don't all have it, which surprised me. One of the vids about composite stone I thought was quite good. There was another about a stone lathe in India (much more recent, not prehistory) which was also very good. There are honest presenters. And there's...

It would be tucking fascinating to me if there was detail in how the pyramids could have functioned as hydroelectric generators. That would be a case of ancient high technology. But I've never seen that. I've seen the theory stated and then pages of rambling following it. That is a giant red...

The Paranormal, UFO's, and Mysteries of the Unknown

Once again, polishing agents much like composite stone (concrete, asphault, the stuff you're talking about above) is not high technology. It is low technology, possibly advanced low technology. High technology is being used as a buzzword. The term has a meaning. It's forgivable that most...

I can see how your think it was boring. It was fairly telegraphed, but it was the actors and production value that appealed to me more than the plot. Hazel and can cha were great iterations of their trope. Klaus was great in a weird, "this is what Sean Penn should have been" way. Really they...
