I actually prefer the Fallout 4 "theme" much more than Fallout 3. From the demo, the world feel brighter and more colorful than Fallout 3. I know i know it is a post-apocalyptic world, I still don't like "grim darkness theme" too much.

Gwent is another excellent gameplay to me, it changes the game pace and help me relax after all the monster slaying/surviving a daunting world.

Do the way you like, this is one of the very few games I didn't feel burnout at all after 50 hours.
