I got sick! I thought I was just cold but it was fever. Fever is great for thinking stuff up but not very good for actual productivity. I think I worked about 8 hours tops and slept the rest. I didn't get very far, just a basic charge and attack AI, and simple turn based movement and attack.

Haha I just flew a mission. No idea what I was doing. Too many red dots on the radar thing and no way to mouse over the 1-4 abilities to see what they do so I just sorta flew around and randomly shot at people. Some people had missiles but if I did I couldn't figure them out.

BTW the large crowd problems should be quite mitigated by ati's mantle api. I've not played with it myself but the primary benefit I've read about is that you can do huge amounts of draw calls. If I were making any sort of mmo right now I'd go mantle primary and just let the dx and gl branches...
