When using the bow in offhand I dont really know how to switch back to swinging the katana after firing some atrows. I usually end up switching the bow to the shield so I can melee again. Is it just me doing it wrong?

Are the shards you have left over from a Tier just wasted? Im sitting at like 40k Lifeshards and as I said will be moving to 1302 gear set today/tomorrow where they aren't needed.

Finally got my last piece to +15 and 1100 ilvl. Off to Punika and continuing the grind. But feels good to be in Tier 3 even if the grind will be rough.

Really glad my weapon went to +15 today. Another 3 pieces to get +15 before I can go to T3. Seeing Asmongold getting his viewers to give him mats to upgrade T3 stuff made me realize I wont get a high item level there in quite some time. So many resources, will take ages.

Awesome just failed 4 upgrades today as well. So zero progress to get into T3. Only 1 piece upgraded to 15 so far. Too lazy to handle alts so thats the reality right now. Guess I'll dust off the other quests I have and collections for a bit.

Got a bit of rage worked up as I failed the Weapon +15 4 times in a row and ran out of Red Shards... mega salty as I even used the +chance gems also. So far only got one piece to 15, will probably take another week or two to get T3.

How does the tripods on gear work in t3? Is it to free skill points into other skills? Or some other reason?

Seems I missed the Abyss Dungeon quest line so will need to run it again next week. Thought it was wierd it had a story with a NPC I had not talked to yet. Is it mainly to unlock rapport with her?

Got the T2 Abyss down today. 3 wipes on the last boss then he went down. Seems most fail groups are when people cant do the stagger mechanic.

I tend to quit all the MMO's once I hit max level and have done the dungeons and easy mode raids. I love FFXIV but once I finished MSQ and did the raids I just stopped logging in. I can see myself quitting once I hit Tier 3 and the gear wall. But will see how it ends, maybe I continue doing...

Got through all the Tier 2 Abyss dungeons but got stuck not being able to kill Alric. Mostly due to bad party composition due to the matchmaking.

The last boss in the first 8 man dungeon was pure cancer as a sorceress.

How hard are the last 3 Abyss Raids in Tier 2? Pugable or will I lose my mind? Will probably not need the armor from it as I'm 1060 item level and don't really need better gear, but would be nice for materials.

I see everyone raving about alts feeding the main, but playing my main is taking all the time i can spare as there's so much shit to do. So I'm not going to bother unless my main have nothing to do all of a sudden, then I can try get an alt to tier 2. Tldr I'm too old to be min maxing to save...

I feel the tier 2 guardians and abyss are easier than tier 1. But maybe it's due to filtering out the terribads from t1. I still get mvp in most fights with dmg done and stagger thing.

Are levels beyond 50 just for skill points or does it have some other purpose as well?
