They kinda sorta started to do the rift thing in wow with the proving grounds, but absolutely fucked that shit up by lowering your gear to mongoloid levels. You should be able to go into proving grounds at 740 ilvl and see how fucking far you can go. Throw in a title for every 30-50...

There are so many iconic class weapons in lore that the devs just ignored to create new shit. Like the blood DK weapon...they just, invented it on the spot.

I think they missed a great opportunity to make Ashkandi a weapon for warriors. The fury weapons just don't seem to do it for me. I actually just turned it down to 75% player damage from 100%. Feels a lot better. 50% too annoying, 100% to easy.

The only difference between easy and survivalist is the damage you do to mobs, the damage they do to you, and the amount of legendaries that spawn. I've already played the game through Very Hard, it was not Very Hard. Making enemies do more damage to you is challenging. Making you do HALF...

I just...the risk vs reward for survivalist doesn't seem to be even remotely close to what it should be. I would use one of those "realism" mods that reduces the enemy HP, but that seems fucking retarded too.

Jesus Christ this game is hard as fuck doing pistoleer on survivalist. Mother fucking hell. Bullet Sponge doesn't even begin to describe how the fucking mobs are. I had to install a mod that let me craft my own ammunition because I am running through it like water.
