If they make that change, than alternate Personas will be a lot less useful honestly.

Did they change that because when I tested them in Beta, you could switch personas anywhere. You just had to be in a fast camp zone to create a new one.

Techinically, you don't have to move around, but it does help to get more monsters lol.

No. You would be in combat and you can not switch personas while in combat. What you can do though is blow your wad don your wizard, die, release, switch persona, zone back in to fight as your Ranger or what ever. It's another form of zerging basically, but with the added benefit of getting...

I'll retest it today when I get home from work, but from what I remember, as long as you are out of combat, you can switch personas.

Anybody that two boxes will essentially have every combination they ever need. All buffs, rez, run speed, etc.

So, with the alternate personas thing and how it currently works in beta, when the new TLP server comes out, it wont matter where you start your character because you can just create a new character in the starting city you need to get to, and then switch to your persona that you actually want...

Ok, so I just tried the Alternate Personas on the beta server... It's a little janky, but it actually works. When you click a different class and then click the create button from the Personas window, it logs you out of your current character and takes you directly to the character creation...

Still not one single word about Alternate Personas from DBG. All they said is they hope to have some answers (not all) some time this week to post. I'd be willing to bet that as soon as people started asking valid fucking questions about it in the beta forums, they were like fuck... fuck...

Wow they just keep on doing amazing work.

Too bad the beta server does not have AP functioning yet. That's the only reason I would pre-purchase the expansion is to check out AP. With out it, no thanks.

Now just give me Alternate Personas on the Mischief server, and all will be right in the world.
