Current gunpla progress. Ran out of the good clear coats and the one I use now take ages to dry. The red parts were more orangey but the gloss made it red. Hope it reverts once I dull coat. Unpainted vs my version.

Is it worth playing through the "campaign"? I got through the maw then arrived at the smurf world then got sidetracked with Cyberpunk and other stuff. Started up ffxiv today to play the recent patch and remembered I never played much shadowlands...

I tried using my sag bracket for the msi ventus 3080 and the msi sag bracket sagged... So I ended up throwing it in a drawer. The phanteks p500a got a built in bracket you mount behind the case and that straightened the card way better.

A relative just bought this one, 3300 euros or something like that. Guessing prebuilts last a bit longer in stock rather than 1 second.

Yea led strips is probably easiest. No shelf above, just the roof so it might be a bit high up. Haven't bought an led strip in ages, they might have gotten brighter nowadays so it could probably work mounting it way up. Otherwise I'll steal the GFs plant lights.

My nerd shelf with my 3 completed builds. Anyone got tips on cheap/smart lights to brighten the models up a bit? Will probably be bullied once covid is done and friends start to visit... At least there's no nude anime titties up there (yet)...

Another Gunpla painted. Found a good paint for them now, Vallejo Mecha Color. Dries real hard even without clearcoats so I can assemble them easier. A before and after picture below.

Got a second 2 hander from the merchant to switch out the 2 handed axe I had. Now I cant windmilk like before by pressing Q, I just rush istead.

I did not find any 2 handers until I was around power level 70 or something. Got that dual wield skill just before I went to Cyberpunk so never actually played with the 2 handers. Going to resume my playthrough today though.

I kinda paused the book but might restart it. Just curious, was there a resolution to the Maya story or just cliffhangers? I enjoyed that of the part like many others have said.

I used to have a few Pi's connected to the TV for youtube/plex and other apps. But since the TV apps got better i hardly use them. Cheap and fun though.

Yea I had to paint the gold stuff black first as I only have gray primer. The gold on the weapon is normal gold and the stuff on the head/grill is titan gold which I think looks better as it is not as yellow. Also handpainted on the weapon so it is not as pretty. Kudos to you who get such...

The only thing not painted is the clear parts and the rods in the pistons. The rest was primed to light gray then painted. I got bad imaginary skills so I pretty much repainted with similar colors though. Made a few changes like using gold instead of yellow and the blue and red are subtle...

Second gunpla done. Lost one piece somewhere in the painting process but made a new myself. Its hidden behind the arm so no biggie. Edit, forgot the clear parts so reposted new pictures ;)

First Gunpla painted and decal'ed. No weathering because I suck at that and don't want to destroy it. Might return to the model and do it later after I practice some more.

I tried some sponge chipping but it wasnt good. Will need to try again. My brushes suck so much, they all split when trying to do small dots/chips. Need to fork up and buy some really good small brushes.

Got my 5900x yesterday. Replaced the 3700x. 0 fps increase in Cyberpunk. :p But seeing as I got 80% of the money back from my 3700x sale it's all good.

Going slow with the Gunplas, due to having to take it apart and then waiting for curing before I can put it together. This kit wasnt the easiest either. It's new and clicks together really hard so can be a bit of a challenge to take apart again. Anyone got some good weathering/chipping guide? I...

Sadly don't think its available here. Can only find tamiya, vallejo and ammo pretty much. Ammo have quite good metallics that sprays better. The tamiya titan was really lumpy and required lots of stirring.

One arm done. Gun metal onnthe frame and weapon. Also tried to make the orange more fun so did silver titan with a clear orange on top, took many coats to make it orange instead of yellow. Also the 0.2mm needle is not good for these metallic paints, clogs up and is a pain in the ass to clean...

Built my second MG Gunpla (Kyrios) during Xmas. It was a newly released kit and of much higher quality. It also has waterslide markers I can buy and apply once its painted. Disassembled the left arm and will sand the pieces and start the process tomorrow once I get some new primer to arrive...
