    The D&D thread

I, personally, cannot stand how 5e is supposed to be a relatively low(er) magic setting/system in terms of loot. All of the best campaigns/modules I have been a part of tossed that out the window. The 3 Attunement rule sucks, but it is all of the 'balancing' the game needs. Let the magic items...

    Jurassic World: Dominion (2022)

I would pay good money for just a series of short videos/shows about how people react to the dinosaurs roaming around. Then again, in the 'real' world, any of them that even thought about eating meat would be wiped out within a few weeks. Maybe little shits like Compys might survive, but...

    MTG: Arena

Nothing is worse than Oko. Removing Uro was a step in the right direction, but Omnath is 100% the problem. But he is the new money card in print, so there is no way they will ban him anytime soon. The amount of ramp possible is ridiculous and severely hampers my ability to enjoy this game...

    World of Warcraft: Current Year

Not as of the start of BfA. You used to have to level through each expansion to have a high enough skill to do the new stuff. Now, however, each expansion has it's own skill level, so when Shadowlands launches, you will have to learn Shadowlands_Trade_Skill_Level_1 from a trainer.

    World of Warcraft: Current Year

The 'Great Vault' and the changes to M+ loot are absolutely a stab at trying to cut out the M+ runners. It will reduce some of their business, but it will not stop it by any means. I have no doubt, that if there was no RMT involved in it, that Blizzard would endorse it wholeheartedly. They...

All armor transmog items that come from drops are ARMOR TYPE restricted, with the exception of special event/holiday transmog items (Summer garlands, bunny ears, and so on can be collected as any armor class). So your Plate character does not get Cloth/Leather/Mail drop transmogs. Quest...

No reason to 'catch up', but if you want the Uncorrupted Voidwing mount, you have to have the Legendary Cloak. Otherwise, you get auto-charmed at the start of the N'zoth fight and do not receive credit.

    MTG thread

MTG: Arena has been down on and off all day, with thousands of reports by people that all they get is a 'black screen', myself included. For a 'flagship' product that is printing money during the Covid-19 pandemic, you would think they would try to run a product that was not a dumpster fire.

Game Pass for Xbox and PC

My only issue with Gamepass is that the games are updated significantly slower than they are on other platforms. Undermine was unplayable for over a month after it's release on Gamepass because of a bug that caused it to not save your progress whenever you closed the game.

    The Venture Bros.

With such a long time between seasons, it loses almost all of it's forward momentum/hype and you are less likely to attract new viewers, resulting in having to rely on an ever diminishing core of fans. I loved the first six seasons, but forgot the show even existed until I was reminded of it...

They did 'flesh out' Orcs in 3.0/3.5. It was a major turning point in the Forgotten Realms and the Drizzt saga. I have had one encounter with a hawk taking a chicken. To counter this, I just let my dogs out when the chickens are loose - which is it's own can of worms, as some dogs will straight eat a chicken if given the chance, so you have to test it out. Biggest chicken killers are Raccoons, Foxes...

Blizzard found some of the founders/high accounts were doing RMT (which is the bannable part. Actually just selling runs for gold is 100% legal within the confines of the game). They were also sharing many, many 'banking' accounts, which is also very 'illegal' according to the TOS. The bank...

Diego 'always' had powers. He can slightly control the flow of air around his body and objects he has touched, which is why he can 'curve' thrown objects. The thing he did at the end, I assumed, was him going 'well, I am dead if I don't - might as well try'.

Twitch is probably the easiest way to get mods installed, particularly with the bigger packs. Advent of Ascension/Nevermine is fun, but it is more combat based than crafting.
