I have more hours in this game than I care to admit and I've played it with more people than almost any other game in the last 10 years. I'm pretty sure if you've beat all five bosses you've gotten plenty of hours into the game, more than for most games you've paid three times the price.

Thing about bronze: You'll relocate after bronze at some point. Maybe even twice. But your new base requires a fuckload of it or the previous stuff (cauldron, forge, sconces, forge upgrades, workshop upgrades). That stuff adds up and if you forget to bring even one piece, you can't teleport it...

tbh it's just the graphical effect that is way over the top. If you run through a campfire, you're not gonna go full Thích Quảng Đức from that.

Actually that's just double damage whether damaged or shield parry staggered, has nothing to do with backstabs. I think those are applied to unaware enemies.

IMO archery is always cheese in this game. I get the problem, balancing ranged vs melee in a real time game is an almost herculean task for any game developer and unless you don't resort to ultra cheap mechanics against ranged (You will not evade me...) you'll have a very hard time not massively...

if you eventually mine out the swamp and there's nothing else nearby (mountains, plains) you'll just create a base you will abandon a few days later unrelated: submerge methan fires in water and the spawning surtlings will die upon spawn, creating an endless coal + core farm.
