This made me think. The genre as we think it was is ready dead. The only savior to the way things were/should be, is if people do not play the shit that is raping the market. So essentially, its the players fault for supporting all of these shitty games.

Anytime someone conveys interest towards Pokemon in one of these threads I don't even read the whole thread due to taint factor. MMO's are one thing, but when people start talking about Pokemon I have to draw the line.

Overly, I lack the knowledge of the development there. I am going off of first impressions. Yes the AC works awesome. Who knows, the server could be the next big thing in the future, but still has some work yet.

Boxing in any form, against anything, if done in mass, destroys the social aspect of the game. Requiring community intervention in everything you do is what makes EQ thrive. Boxing destroys this.

Can any Rangers from the Velious era vouch for its viability (When it is up)? Pretty sure I saw it used every time by Rangers in Velious.

I think rangers in Velious can put out some signifigant burst though? Weren't some good bows and trueshot introduced? Also haste from quivers. Pretty sure in Thunderwalkers we had a ranger in TOV using trueshot whenever it was up.

Fogel from Thunderwalkers? I could do so much more solo pulling with freedom as an SK. I loved it. Despite the xp penalty it was worth playing the class. Way more fun than my mage and very versitile.
