The sooner you get those alts to t2, the faster they can feed each other to tier 3, where you're really going to want those extra mats every day. Plus, you don't really notice how helpful they are at first, because of all the island mats in tier 1 and 2.

It's because they have so much gold. A bot can make over 500 gold from tutorial quest just getting to Luterra Castle, which takes about 2 hours.
