This morning I rocked out the last 3 levels on the 'lock for stages 1 + 2 in the crossroads in about 45 or so minutes. 3.5 sets of 2 per level.

I over all enjoyed it. It isn't going to win an Oscar and its not ASOIAF level fantasy but its enjoyable. It makes about as much sense as the derivative lore that the games are based on. It was certainly better than the X-Men movie.

This episode was amazing. So much too it and so compelling for what is basically a two person play. Eva is stunning in well everything. Kinnear was no slouch either here. Just a brilliant intimate episode.

I think your expectation of what the Defenders dealt with is off. As long as I could recall most of what they dealt with was stuff the Avengers couldn't ie the non-cosmic stuff. I could be wrong, I would have preferred a Heroes for Hire vs a show for Luke and Iron Fist.

holy shit! I turned it off before that came up. Id be a lot happier with it if they had maintained a more serious tone with the carnival scene and less "manga" powerup.

I've liked a few since Flashpoint but I'm probably more forgiving than you. This one stands out for me because the shift in tone is extreme, the carnival scene to be precise just rolls in with a bag of "WTF did i just watch".

Oh that is some good news, I have become quite fond of Supergirl, to me its far more watchable than Bat-Arrow.
