I really don't think the screen is going to be used for the actual game. Like, imagine this pic but with just the buttons. The buttons can also change depending on whats happening. As for using the screen for the actual game, I think that'll be rare.

It's all going to come back to haptics to be honest. But I'm on the same boat. I'll try it, but a lack of physical buttons has me extremely cautious. Also, apparently Wii U will still be in production. Was just a rumor from what I understand.

I agree. The thing that made MMOs magical to me in the first place was having to interact with other people. I think it's a human trait to want to band together to take on a challenge that we can't do alone. It's probably something left over from our hunter/gatherer days. But he's not wrong...

Well, hopefully someone takes the good ideas from it and runs with it. Until then I'll play Runescape and Gorgon and hope Pantheon becomes a thing. They have all of those assets though. They should remake EQ1.

Honestly not sure. It's not a huge population as it's alpha. The game is still very early. Has a lot of promise though.

From what I understand once the game goes up on Steam, you'll have to buy to play it. I don't have a problem with that of course, just wondering when that might be.

I just think it's impressive considering the game started out as this... As for why this never happened with EQ... I'm guessing because Runescape just gets fully revamped, where as EQ just got loaded down with half sassed revamps and sequels. As for weather adults play Runescape, yeah...

So Runescape is the undying MMO, it's been around for as long as I can remember. It seems to be getting another huge upgrade soon. They're finally leaving Javascript back! Just thought it'd be interesting to talk about. I always pop into Runescape every few months. It's hard to believe this game...

I expect eventually there will be three formats once wild gets to crazy. Probably Wild, Restricted Wild, and Standard. Wild will just get to crazy in time.
