Eh, the way I look at it is that it's basically unlimited Mario. I also believe that the 10 man challenge is nothing but Nintendo designed levels. So there's that. But yeah, $39 would have been the optimal price, but Nintendo knows they can get away with $59 simply because it's Mario.

This is true. But I think this is one of the things that the kickstarter is aiming to fix. The visuals and animations. It has to be said that this little game is still in pre-alpha, so a lot is going to change.

I'm going to buy it on steam. While I love it, I want to see what it becomes after a year or so before I commit. I still can't believe it's made by two people.

There's dungeons with bosses in them, but no raids yet that I know of. The dungeons are un-instanced as far as I can tell. Not sure about randomized loot, I'll have to look into it.

I enjoyed it a lot as well. Hopefully they still make some hardcore content, though. Casuals keep the game alive, but the hardcore players always inspire the rest. That's how I've always seen it, anyway.
