Same here. I'm very glad Curse has been making a strong showing. I also feel the same way about CLG that you do(in that I didn't like them for quite a bit, but they seemed to have leveled out now). I'm also pleased that Vulcan Command managed to get in some wins. They played really well tonight.

Yeah, I am not sure how much I like you needing to go 4-2 to advance a tier or 3-1 to advance a division. Then again, I didn't have any problems when climbing divisions within my tier since the league system so I'm not sure... I think that ultimately this system just serves to frustrate players...

I would go with Ryze or Garen, both of whom are cheap, if you are looking for characters that are fairly simple yet can carry harder(more like earlier, really, in garen's case) than Ashe. I'd suggest picking those two up and seeing who you like more and going from there. Tear -> Rod of Ages ->...

I would agree with the Ashe call for a newer player. You don't have to worry about too much to do your job and it's as good a place as any to work on traditional mechanics.

I agree that the pick order is more important than calling a role. You should always be able to play adequately in at least two roles and have a third that you can fill in when you have to. It doesn't do anything except hurt your chances of winning when you call a role and then ignore the pick...

Yeah, that happens. I find you can sometimes quell it by staying positive throughout the game and trying to make calls for your team, but sometimes you just get that guy that makes everyone into a butthurt rager.

Draven is still a great ADC but also requires the most skill from the player as he relies on catching axes amidst a teamfight to keep his DPS where it needs to be. Early game is rewards playing hyper-aggressive as no other ADC can win properly executed trades with you. Draven works really well...

Yeah - use smart cast and make sure you build your tear of the goddess into a Muramasa that converts into a Muramana and not an Archangel's Staff. It may seem odd but the toggle you get on your Muramana makes Ryze a beast.

I think you skip tiers if your hidden ELO is far enough above your "division" set that you skip one or two.

Yes, but the current thought is that you can drop down divisions but not an entire league, so your case of going from Silver II to Silver 5 would happen. I'm not sure if you can drop leagues or not and would be interested to know for sure. Is anyone able to a source?
