Planescape Torment Kickstarter: A spiritual sequel to be set in Monte Cook's Numenera

The game is not bad. They significantly neutered what they promised on, however. They had 5 years and hit so many stretch goals... and the game is missing plenty of what they promised. The story is compelling and I could see some people playing it again. The combat is lackluster and entirely...

Unless I am mistaken, only characters of the same class can use them once unlocked. Meaning, if you have a 101 Mage on a different server, it can ride the magic sewer lid that you unlocked on your 110.

So very much content was 'cut' from this game. Companions (reduced to make those present more 'interesting'), Kickstarter stretch goals (to make those in the game more 'interesting'), foci (A huge part of the Numenera setting), and numerous maps/areas. Seems like it was rushed, even though it...

I bought that. Shitty visual novel and all, but I am starved for 'GOOD' vampire stuff and WoD, shitty as some of the stuff got, always scratched that itch. I returned it. Waaaay too virtue signaling.

I could not get Risen 2 to run on Windows 8 back when I got it in a bundle. Tried it a few months ago on Windows 10 and still no luck. All sorts of issues with it according to the forums, with dozens of different methods to get it to play - I tried a few and gave up.

Pillars of Eternity, Obsidian's new CRPG in the vein of Baldur's Gate

PoE also has the issue where there is a load screen for every single building. Even with an SSD and a new-ish computer, the load times get pretty silly when you are the sort of person who explores everything. The only area that really 'did it' for me in the game was when you have to fight your...

    Enter the Gungeon

Supposedly, the Supply Crate Update seriously nerfed your chances of 'snowballing' by getting numerous good items. Sucks. That has always been one of the best parts of games like this. Despite the gross atmosphere/theme, Binding of Isaac is probably still the best game in this genre. Bullet...

Keep in mind that the raid will not likely open when 7.2 comes out. They are talking about doing some Isle of QD/Thunder with it. Where you have to collect resources to build up the zone leading to the offensive on the Tomb itself. They did this with Nighthold as well. An 8-Week questline...

22%-0% is the hardest part of Gul`Dan. So much shit that can go wrong and it is tuned so tightly that one DPS down is likely going to be an enrage, unless that DPS was not pulling their weight to begin with.

Mythic Nighthold does not open until Tuesday. Mythic+ items have a higher item level starting this Tuesday. I believe clearing M+15 results in the box awarding you with 900 base items. This is also one of the easiest weeks to get to M+15.

As a Fire Mage with the Legendary Bracers (Bubble Robe, Bubble Neck as well), I am struggling to pull 400k+ on Heroic fights. Cleaving fights (Tich, Aluriel) help the situation, but it really sucks that Blizzard has nerfed us into the ground and our 'buff' for the week is reduced mana costs...

Poll Do you like the stories and dialogue in games?

It depends on the game. Fallout: New Vegas? I loved every minute of the story, but Fallout: 4 was a shit-show due to how forced everything was and how it shoe-horned you into either being a Super-Good Guy, an Average Good-Guy, or a Sort-of-Jerk Good-Guy. I tend to get invested in story when it...

This was probably the first Steam Sale where I did not purchase a single thing. Guess it is due to Civ6 still being too 'new' for my tastes, FarCry 4 having sucked (and Primal just being a re-skin of it), and Final Fantasy 15 having come out earlier.

I enjoy raiding when the numbers are more flexible. Scaling technology is great. But Mythic-20 and before it Heroic-25 and before that, 40 Man raids are literal aids.
