It’s an auto dismantle feature, noticed the same thing on PC and you can see your Engineer skill getting xp when it happens. Not sure the rhyme or reason on what it does and doesn’t dismantle though. Edit: Auto dismantles “broken” weapons.

Definitely approve of the overall tuning changes, Hard difficulties feel much better than they use to and I’ve actually died a few times. Cyberpsychos and bosses can actually be challenging in the early game. Still feel like Tech is one of the required stats to bump just for Cyberware usage...
