you cant ignore that mechanic. You have to assume their intent is to lower the GCD in a meaningful way through gear. To be able to improve something that has such a huge impact on your playstyle via gear is pretty cool in my opinion and helps offset the bland stats. It may be tuned wrong now...

Phase II was pretty well polished by content was very light. Keep in mind - they have a ton of stuff (classes, jobs (a huge part i think?), combat mechanics, areas, quests, blah blah) that were not in Phase II. Phase III is the first time anyone will see the real game.

are they wiping characters after p3? I heard they were not wiping between beta and release but not sure when the last wipe takes place

Vvoid - have you checked out Filebot? its great. It does the renaming on a file by file basis. not sure if this works for you since you dont rename your torrents but its been great for me
