Just started a barb alt. Thorns plus bleeding seems like easy mode so far. How do the stats on weapons work when they aren't wielded by an attack. If I use my slashing weapon do I still gain the stats/mods/aspects of the bludgeoning/dual wield weapons on that attack?

Tried multiple new sorc builds today and arc lash is awesome. Fireball and arc lash enchantments. Hydra to apply burning for the crit damage passive. Flame shield/ice armor/frost nova for cc/barrier. All cooldowns stun due to arc lash enchantment. Stun does aoe dmg due to shocking impact...

Yeah. It's kinda rough for the glass cannon sorc I'm playing. Hydra/orb and abusing shield timers. But if I lag for a few seconds I'm toast.

Melee is very gear dependant. Sorc is easy. A1 get the runes for stealth and leaf off countess, shop a 2 socket staff for leaf. Spec fireball. After norm farm a crystal or vroad sword from cows and larzuk quest socket it. Those 2 swords from cows will always get 4 sockets based on their ilvl...

What class are you playing?

I play on psn, and multistage bowazon suckd due to the auto aiming/lack of cursor. Where with a mouse you target the end of a hallway to keep the spread minimal. The auto aim will often cause you to target a close monster and give a stupidly wide fan shot.

Use fireball. Put a few tir runes in a shield/helm. Also make a leaf staff. That will make it fairly easy til act 4 nm, when fire immune start to show up.

Agreed. At minimum I expected them to at least attempt to hover over the water for a few seconds to make sure they could successfully zero out velocity on reentry from orbit.
