Yah Vallejo Surface primer. I did 2 drops of Airbrush thinner, 15 drops primer and a drop of the Flow Improver. Mix it in the cup and spray away! The space I have it set up is pretty small. I'll take a shot of it

Awesome suggestions guys! I was thinking wet blending but now I'm gonna look at either the varnish or technical paint, with some highlights on the edges.

Ok so this guy is base coated now! Any suggestions for the shield? I had envisioned it as a glossy almost wet looking blue. Maybe like a deep blue gem, or a shield version of a power sword. Now I'm not sure what to do with it

Thanks guys . Excellent suggestions. I have some grass tufts home, cork is a great idea. I'm gonna prioritize basing next. So next mini I'll zenithal prime and give the whole team a cool base. I might also delve into terrain. Just a bit for displaying them. We will see.

Storm Trooper! This guy was my first spray primed mini. I used white rustoleum. Very happy with it! First guy I used Citadel's Corax white. Apparently I did not thin it enough ha. I'm finding out now its notorious for needing tho be thinned significantly.

Ok that's fair. I can deal with some start up investment if I like the game. Then 100 or even 200 I am ok with over time assuming i'm really enjoying playing the game.

Nice! I really like the Reaper paints. Reaper and Vallejo for paints, Citadel for washes. Although I have not tried Citadel paints just yet so we will see. Also those contrast paints from Citadel look cool. I did the dry brush on my Dwarf and hit him with some highlights on his beard...
