Do you have any idea of the spend curve on the server? I'm sure early days TLP are when spending peaks, but is there a significant different between the 'special' servers and the vanilla TLPs?

Yeah it's hard to split which is the most responsible for the server pop atm. The content being quasi post oow, the banwave, the lack of reasonable achievements or the 3 month level range.

I don't think I agree that they should change the fight to be easier just for the achievement. The idea of the challenge server is to do things at a level that you normally wouldn't, not to fight neutered 'challenge server only' versions of the fight. They should just sell a "Potion of Ogre Vision" in the shop that gives you showeq functionality right on your map. "Classic" TLP play is so far from legit anyway with store pots, xtar, etc, might as well go the blizzard route and roll "add ons" into the base game to make everyone equal.

I believe they changed required levels to recommended levels. So you can still use the gear, but it's not as powerful until you hit the level.

It released with GoD unlocked, so there is a lot you can work on. Leveling is really fast, but you have VT keys, emp keys, plane flagging, your epic, etc. Add gearing on top of that and an abundance of possible low hanging raid targets, and there is plenty to keep you busy for the ~4 weeks the...
